Question for you...where did you get this chain? All of the 525s I've found come with a master link that you have to use a special crimping tool on to install. I would rather just install a chain that's already completely together, like you used in this video. Also, most of the 525s that are available are not the correct length (102 links). And lastly, did you order this chain with the sprockets? I've noticed a lot of them come as a set, but the sprockets usually don't have the correct number of teeth...

Thank you for your question , that chain what i fit in vtr 1000 is 530 not 225, I make link from the same chain as was to long and i spot weled it to make sure it will not broke of. I did this as join link got lost.

What is the clear liquid your using with the brush to clean the parts ?

It that simple kerosene , best think to clean all parts
