You read the ROTK books? They are pretty long. I heard historically that there is no record of the 3 oath brothers making a vow. But Im not a historian.
@@Yoksoupyes ive read the ROTK books. Everything in it is historical accuracy by Luo Guangzhong. Plus his novel survived longer then Chen Shou's. Fake records. everything Chen Shou wrote is not true. He dont know nothing about Liu Bei and others. He was writing pure fiction about them.
Part of the reason why Dong Zhuo's army was so ferocious is that they were border legions guarding the Han Empire's frontiers, giving them a lot of battle experience to draw upon. Hua Xiong here was portrayed as a man who lived on the harsher side of the world, almost like a steppe nomad, while Yuan Shao and the other warlords of the alliance were mostly rich boys who assembled their army out of peasants and retainers. While some like Cao Cao and Sun Jian had battle experience, others did not, which explains why Hua Xiong cut down two dudes who were supposed to be the best of the best, before he was cut down as well. The fact that one of their champions tried to use a heavy axe while on horseback goes to show a distinct lack of expertise, as such a weapon is better handled by a footsoldier, not a cavalryman.
It's a difference in money put into the projects. While it may look cheaper, this show has far greater substance and quality than a hollywood movie like Troy. I enjoyed this show a great deal for its characters and story.
Budget is different. But the whole series is well done. Instead of focusing on lots of battles, the series focus on strategy, politics and story, which RotK is truly about.
That doesn't mean he has no significance. That was just that particular game designer's choice, there are plenty of other works that give him enough emphasis. And in the actually history, Hua Xiong wasn't killed by Guan Yu but Sun Jian.
In another scene Cao Cao visits Liu Beis camp and provides troops, money and supplies. Yuan Shao and Yuan Shu didnt want to provide Liu Bei with supplies
Liu Bei and Zhang Fei didn't move, they already know their brother very well.
Totes this is accurate. good job on uploading the video

All of this is fiction, not real. Guan Yu himself wielded the mythical Dragon Blade, for sure heavier than that axe, on horseback without issues.
@HoangNguyen-rd6qy It was Sun Jian who killed Hua Xiong. Not Guan Yu or his mythical green dragon saber.
@@HolyknightVader999 I thought you were talking about this clip, in which it was Guan Yu
To bad the end of this three was not so glory...
where can i watch this ?
1:00 4th? and he doesnt name Zhang Liao ??? hmmm
Zhang Liao was a smallfry serving under Lu Bu at the time.
The real Guan yu is 3 meters height

lol hua Xiong is just a NPC character in Dynasty Warriors. He is not even worthy enough to have a unique design by the programmers
Yeah think it got filmed cause it's his first main duel for guan yu.
