gosh the more I watch dorm tours of Yonsei, the more I get excited coming there when i still have to go 2 years of school before college haha

@@danyliv2028 Umm I'm still confused in which course I'm going to take. I actually want to study medicine but they say it's almost impossible to study medicine in Korea as an international student because they teach it in Korean.. and some other reasons.

haiiithereee30 haha depends on what you want! Single has more privacy and a fridge. But you save way more with a double
i'm not too stressed about the money since i have a scholarship :) it's more a matter of whether i'll get lonely or not. at this point i'm leaning more towards the single room though

haiiithereee30 then i suggest a single. you wouldnt wanna risk getting stuck with a terrible roommate which is what happened to me. luckyly mine was an extreme case and the housing office allowed me to change rooms

Susana Rivero hello, thanks so much! i am an exchange student studying for one semester for Spring 2017! my home school is partnered with Yonsei which is why i am here instead if any other school in south korea but Yonsei is the best!! Hehe definitely not biased... totally

Question: for the dorms do they only use Ethernet ports? did you have to buy an adapter? I have macbook air and was wondering if i needed an adapter for my laptop or purchase an ethernet cord?
O Xiong yes, if you are using the ethernet ports you will be needing an adapter for your macbook. However there is wifi

Kylee Xu you can still make friends outside of the dorms but i highly reccomend the dorms its way more convienent since most people just live there and they meet up there! Though it definitely doable to make friends and meet up outside of the dorms too!

Hi! Can I check if the gym shown at 6:55 is available for all SK global residents to use? I read on the internet there might be a capped number of students that can apply for it, not sure how accurate it is or if it's some other gyms in Yonsei?
Separately, could I check if there's pots/pans/cooking equipment in the B3 kitchen for residents to use or do we have to purchase our own? Thanks for your help!

There's no wifi, you need to buy or bring your lan cable when you move in.

OMG housing is so cheap over there I pay about 5,000 for my single room at my college and its like 4,600 for a double! I'm about to transfer to Korea lol

Well in my college dorm (in portugal) we are all girls and get along very well so no one steals food from each other UNTIL THIS YEAR!!! We have a lot of students from equador and they started stealing our food T_T
THEY EVEN STOLE MY PHONE!
But I threatened them by going to the police and saying that if they didn't give it the police would come and so later that night I got my phone back but it was SUCH A MEAN THING TO DO! T_T I cried a lot that day :( And learned that I should be very careful with my stuff. Because the dorm is like my second home (this is my 3rd year there) I never had anything to complain about but this year everyone is really pissed of by the new students. We arleady talked with them about these problems but... they don't change! But at leat the two most problematic girls just got out! YEY~
