Help, I can't manage to screw out the allen under the fork without the smaller spring inside the forks rotating with it.. I tried lodging a screwdriver in to hold it in place, but to no avail.. The whole assembly on the bottom is just rotating with it (I guess it's because of the sticky threads)
This will depend on the model of scooter. The old seal should have markings on it that say what size it is and if the oil has not leaked out of the fork you can measure how much you drain out and put that same amount back in.
@user-zu9kq3iu5r In this case you need a repair manual. We should have the manual for your model on our website. If you sign up for a repair manual it includes tech support. www.cyclepedia.com/

hello, how many newtons do you tighten the lower bolt?
Sorry how to stiffen those
Did you use the same copper washer in 04:20? Can i use it again without issues? Thank you!
Technically you should use a new washer, I reused the one in the video since it was just a demonstration.
What tool you use to take out the screw
my front fork is mangled and needs repairing or replacing.
Great video, i have the same forks… how much oil did you put in there? Cant find it anywhere…
how much oil mate
My new seals are way to tight to even fit in that easy? What can I do? I been smacking it for ages with a driver and they barely budge
Use zip tie around it to compress
How much oil do you use?
I cant get the hex bolt out of the bottom of the fork. Any tips? Its turning but not coming out 😅
Im having the same problem😢
@@richardd9867 I ended up putting a stick inside the tube from the top, put some pressure on it and the bottom bolt cane out easily.

If it’s a piaggio vx fork it’s 80ml
On muy fork the spring is upside down, the coils closer together at the top. Does it matter?. It is exactly yours.
I think it doesn’t matter. Just known as an “USD fork”
@@keeaan6895 OK, thanks.
Where can I find the kit to rebuild my 2013 50cc tao tao forks?? And what fork oil is recommended ?? Thanks for any help
