    Yes would definitely like an air or ground test with the old simplex versus the new ultra in their deepest modes. Somebody's got to do it!

    Just bought an Simplex Ultra, Nokta BT headphones,. ? How do you pair the headphones with detector in simple terms!?

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX
      @DTEKTSUSSEX  ปีที่แล้ว

      Congratulations!
      The machine basically does the hard work for you. Turn the machine on, go to the Bluetooth options setting and change it to '1'.
      Then turn on the headphones and wait. It should recognise and connect automatically.
      If not, turn the machine and headphones off and then on again (machine first).

    Any helpful advice would be appreciated.

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX
      @DTEKTSUSSEX  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I haven't used the X-Terra but generally Nokta machines combine the best build quality on the market with the best price. They're also easy to use whilst giving performance well above the price tag.
      Let me know if you have any specific questions about the Nokta range...always happy to help 😊

    hi, I have a question about the backlight, because in simplex plus there were two options, you could choose constant backlight and backlight when we have a signal, and how does it look like in simplex ultra??

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX
      @DTEKTSUSSEX  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi,
      It's exactly the same on the Ultra with the same brightness options within those two modes 😊👍

    Compared to the original Simplex would you say it’s a massive upgrade or moderate? I do like it being able to switch recovery speed & the 15khz. I feel 15 is more suitable for all around detecting.
    Seems to hit on mid to lowers conductive targets better, but also hits on high conductors as well.
    Also can you tell a big difference in weight?
    I have both the original Simplex & the Legend.
    Thought about selling my Simplex & getting the Ultra as my backup detector.
    Thanks, Kody

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX
      @DTEKTSUSSEX  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm still adjusting to it but I'm impressed so far. Certainly much more adjustable than the Simplex+ so can be tuned better to individual locations and conditions. The 15khtz certainly seems to like the coins!
      Time will tell as to how much of an upgrade it will be. There will likely be software updates with tweaks, enhancements and new features in the coming year or more so judging it now wouldn't be fair.
      Weight-wise it's a HUGE difference! I could happily swing it all day with no problems 😊

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX

    🤔 Aside from the new "Bells & Whistles" does this detect any deeper than the old Simplex+ (?) 🤨😳????🇺🇲

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX
      @DTEKTSUSSEX  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      After only 5 and a half hours with the machine...no idea.
      I would be surprised if it didn't!
      If enough people want it I could do an air test comparison between the two. Obviously the depth would be different compared to the ground but it would show them in relation to one another...

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX
      @DTEKTSUSSEX  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The middle model, the Simplex BT, is an updated version of the original Simplex+.
      The Simplex Lite is a cheaper, stripped down version for people who want a very cheap but well performing machine, or just want something to throw in the boot for a holiday etc.
      The Ultra has some additional settings and features above the standard Simplex.
      The new range caters for a much wider spread of detectorists so there's a Simplex machine for everyone 👍
