After our Camiguin trip, we opted to visit one of the majestic waterfalls in Iligan City-Tinago Falls. It is a part of the 36.5 kilometer-long Agus River. The falls is around 240-feet high and it is mesmerizing to witness the picturesque blue-green pool of water.
355 steps, and it was indeed an amazing experience to witness its hidden beauty.

Entrance fee P30.00
Environmental fee P5.00
Life vest rental P25.00
Table rental P100.00
Parking P50.00
Guide tip P500.00 - it depends on how much you will give. We have two guides, P250.00 each.
We didn’t get a chance to rent their balsa and be near to the falls due to the strong currents.
We stayed in St. Nicolas Inn in Cagayan de Oro City and our travel time going to Tinago Falls was almost 2 hours.
Since we are going to visit the nearby provinces, we opted to rent a self drive car rental based in CDO and it is P1,800.00 for 24hrs of usage. Unit is full tank upon release and will have to return it in full tank, too.
