idk what changed this hype. I think after every award show became bts's concerts & kpop globalization tend to change the environment. May be big3 want to make their idols distant from bts because their artist getting less focus from award shows or may be it's becuz fans... too much rivalry or overpotectiveness made idols to not to show their friendship openly, or they are actually not close with each other or there is rivalry going on subconsciously so they don't feel like to hype each other up😅... lol who knows🤷 Only thing is 2nd gen award shows look more live.

I think it kinda has to do with the industry's success today. You see this in super successful industries too. Might not be a good comparison, but in sports, like the NBA, since it makes so much money now and is a super success, u have stars just stat pading or getting by cuz they get paid big bucks just doing that. Only about a dozen or so stars left in the NBA that are really giving their all to win a championship, and it shows. With Kpop's success, it feels like for many 4th gen idols, after they debut, they take their foot of the gas a bit cuz they are set for the next 6-7 years or so. The will to survive and fight for every bit of exposure and tear down the stage and become a world wide phenomenon seems to be something of the past now. Idk, but maybe its cuz our expectations of Kpop were too high, Kpop after all pumps out Idols! not artists. BTS really are the full package and maybe its just unrealistic to hold most idols to even 1/2 the standard BTS hold themselves at.
