Definitely adding The Obesity Code into my reading list for next year, would also love to know how long it took you to get used to the fasting. You did talk about alternatives when you got hungry (coffee, water...) but I'm curious to also know how easy it was for you for this to become a lifestyle.. Also, coming from someone who really struggles with body image and the toxic diet culture, this is definitely interesting to know and learn from, thank you!!
It’s a great book!!! So I never used to have breakfast before, that part was never the hard one. To get to a place where I eat for 3 hours a day (most days) it took me a few weeks. It’s actually a lot easier than you think it is. Once you understand that you’re not actually hungry, your body is just sending you the hunger signal because it is used to eating around that time, it gets a lot easier. What helps me is knowing I’ll be able to eat as much as I want when the time comes (and always end up eating less btw).
The stigma surrounding weight loss yes! As someone who has always been a certain weight and lived in this relatively same body for 33 years, I don’t feel comfortable when i gain weight that I don’t recognize. And yes, I always want to return to being my comfort weight which IS on the skinnier side!
The obesity code! I totally get the caloric deficit problem like I always burn a lot at first and then I don’t anymore. I would love to see more of how much u can eat in a timescale of 3h a day because I would be full from a small meal😬❤
Yay!! Yes I completely relate!! and then I get discouraged and start binging. I used to think it was a plateau but it turns out it just doesn’t work. And absolutely! I will be posting videos like “fasting for beginners” and “fast with me” vlogs ♥️
I do!!! Just a lot less. And I make sure to eat sugar right after a meal, that way my glucose doesn’t spike as much :) With time I stopped craving it as much.
This is your sweet spot chlo❤ you found it it’s so interesting to hear you talk about this ❤
omg thank you!!!♥️
