The only thing yhat I did not like about Sen. Gordon was that he was once an enabler (like Lacson) of digong during digong's first 5 years in office. But he redeemed himself on his last year of office when he became the arch nemesis of digong. I still like Gordon, he better be late than never.

Good advice snd idea Ex-PH Senator Gordon, put F-16 jet fighters at air bases near Palawan Islands and the Kalayaan Islands for the defence of the West Philippine Sea.
A squadron of F-16 is nothing we need atleast 150 fighters mixed of F-16 V block 70-72 vipers F-16 C/D Fighting Falcons, F-15 Ex strike eagle and F-35 A lightning ll or F-35 C for our Airforce and atleast 3 Squadrons of MRF and light Fighters for our Navy then our navy needs 50 units of ready to fight warships and atleast 12 attack submarines, Additional Missile systems both ASM and SAM artilleries etc.
On point tungkol sa military natin. It's not putting our forces into harm but yun talaga ang nature ng pinasok nila at alam nila yun, to protect the country's interest and to whatever it takes.

I admire Sen Gordon. He is full of practical wisdom. I am sorry for the Filipinos for losing a fine senator and instead voted know nothing or do nothing senators (Estrada, Revilla, Padilla, Lapid). I agree with what the Former Senator except for one thing- That we don't have ASEAN'S support or that we are alone in the region on this fight. Thing is, there are confirmed reports that the land-locked Asean members such as Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, etc. are being held captive by China thru Water Politics. China is threatening to withhold the water supply of these countries once they openly support the Philippines' WPS cause. So the most prudent thing in this cause is to help these countries shift their dilemma by expanding and sharing our water technology with them.
In short we can strengthen our stand by providing them water.

This is the result of the decisions we made way back. We did'nt have this problem during the time that the US military was still in Subic, Zambales but now look at whats happening in WPS, because of these politicians,we are being ousted in our own exclusive economic zone and we cant do anything about it,this would have not happen if we still have the US military bases in Subic,so what now?

If truly the leaders of the Philippines wanted to claim the right of the Philippine sea, the only way is to test this encroaching big country is by attacking those who violated the territory. That simple but, it seems to me, all what Deterte has done to strenghten the military’s defense have stopped. Complacency on the part of government position if war happened, surely put the Philippines at sorry fate. Philippines, can’t just left defense on other country which is now present there but, Philippine gov’t must always be prepared if those who professed to defend the Philippines, what if suddenly was stopped by their congress support or stopped giving budget to this action then, this will be a big backlashed to the Philippine defense.

This abuses by China was long ago when Gordon was a Senate Committee Head during Digong's administration. He kept his mouth shot by not issuing a statement against China when he was still allied by Digong. Now, he's now TALKING. Likewise, during Matobato's revealation on Digong's killing in Davao. He defended Digong that time.

Duterte's unilateral withdrawal was accepted by the ICC, which was why our Supreme Court said the question as to whether or not Duterte's withdrawal needs Senate concurrence had become moot and academic!
