    So glad I subscribed to your channel. Love your hair. I have gray/coarse area in the front of my hair. I too tried mousse and gel and the rest of my hair was beautiful..but the top was a challenge. Love your videos.

      Thank you so much! Yes. That gray boy! It has its own personality! LOL! For the most part, gel gives me the best, and longest lasting definition for my gray, but I will keep experimenting!

    Thanks for sharing this video. Your hair is beautiful and so are you! I was going to try this exact combo and was wondering if the definition would last. The curly magic alone defines my curls while still allowing it to feel soft and fluffy on day one but only lasts about a week. Curly magic and a heavier gel like wetline can get me up to 3 but makes my hair dry. Think I'll just have to go back to the camielle rose milk and castor oil eco and use pil to scrunch out the crunch over the 2 weeks. Thanks again!

      Hey Joy! Thank you so very much! I appreciate it! Curly Magic is loaded with glyercin so really keeps the hair moisturized and feeling soft, and as a result, it doesn't last as long. And yes, wetline and eco do giver a more lasting hold, but my hair is super dry! LOL. I recently tried 'the doux mousse and gel' -- it was pretty good. I will post a video soon.

    I used a mousse from Miche products to do a twistout yesterday. I was surprised with how fast it air dryed (just did not want to sit under my dryer🙄😂), and the definition is still lasting today. Will see how long it lasts for the next two days. My hair is all grey. Thanks for the adding gel tip🎉😊.

      Yes! I’m posting a video mentioning mousse tomorrow! It’s a quick dry!

    You got beautiful results! But I think I may stay away from the mousse to because your hair appears to be a looser curl than mine and if it didn’t hold your gray, I know it won’t hold mine! Thank you so much for sharing your results with us!

    Ms. Karen, I'm still in awe over how much your hair has grown over the past few months. Mine tells me, "look this is as far as I'm gonna go, now" 🤣...my pic to the left is it, lol

      Hey Lynell! So I subscribed to your page, and checked out your hair! It is so beautiful (and so are you!). If you feel like your hair is at a plateau, or just not growing as fast as it used to, and if you are doing everything 'correctly' regarding hair 'maintenance' then its something internal, or you your scalp may need topical support. Stayed for a class I am releasing sometime next year. You are welcome to join my mailing list to stay abreast of it release date, and much more! mailchi.mp/3e6e7ab6961e/curl-house-rocks

      @@KarenofCurlHouse I'm honored, thank you 🙏🏾. I so wish you could be my stylist. I strongly feel it's internal. I'm currently working on stress management & recovering from a concussion, I'm much better than I was but not 100%. My diet is great: very little to no sweets, no processed foods, water is my bestie. Stress is the culprit. I've begun praying over my hair as you did with your client in one of your videos. Thank you for what you do on this platform. Thank you for the link! 💕🙏🏾

    Hi Karen what oil are you spraying? I have babyfine thin naturally curly hair. I can’t seem to fine the right products. I’m losing definition. Under my cabinet looks like a beauty store.

      @KarenofCurlHouse  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Sharon! Oh I totally get it! My cabinet is quite similar! LOL! What do you mean you are 'losing definition'? But the oil I'm using in my favorite by Jinsa Essentials. Here's a link for easy access amzn.to/3tz41j6

      My hair looks frizzy and stringy. I try to twist it to form curls but it looks messy. I thought about getting a shorter cut and see if that will help. I have very soft hair that often looks dry. A lot of products weigh my hair down, while some products will make my hair appear dry. I’ve always had trouble finding the right products for my hair. Thanks for your reply and
      the link to the oil. I thought it might be a light oil.

    Unfortunately I cannot do mousse in my hair. It does the same thing it did on your gray hair - no curl. The ONLY product that gives me curl definition is Eco Styler Gel, the Argan Oil brand. For some reason the olive oil brand makes my hair look dull and the others are not heavy enough to curl my hair the way I like it.

    • @KarenofCurlHouse
      @KarenofCurlHouse  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! Is the Argan Oil the one with the red top? Yes -- that's the only one I can use too! The green one makes my hair dry too!!! Mousse by itself only gets me one day and that's it. I was just trying something new to minimize dryer time...but back to gel I go!! lol!
