Agreed, a post indicates Singh is a "best friend" of Trudeau. He definitely has proven himself to be Trudeau's server. After all, the only way the NDP party has ever had any political libido on Parliament Hill is when they have shored up the governing party.

I am writing this to inform you that I am withdrawing any and all support for the NDP party . I was an NDP supporter all my life , but recent events have proved to me that this party no longer stands up for the average worker or cares about the abrogation of the working mans rights under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms . Jack Layton must be rolling over in his grave in disgust at what this party has turned into. You should get your nose out of Trudeau's arse and quit propping up the spoiled little rich boy as he tears this country apart with his politics of division . I plan to make EVERY effort to convince all my friends and fellow workers to follow me in leaving this party. - GOODBYE

My entire family = hard working NDP supporters.
Up until Jack Layton's passing, I loyally voted for the NDP. Over the last 10 years the NDP has replaced the fight for Canada's labor class with identity politics, the desires of union bosses and big money donors, *not their working class voter base.*
I'm fully vaccinated but refuse to use the marginalizing and discriminatory passport. These mandates hurt the working class, the working poor and the homeless the most. This party has abandoned all it stood for, and now stand against us. If the NDP votes to support enacting these draconian measures, my entire family is going to leave the party like I already have. They are now seeing (like I have) that the NDP is not a working class party. It has become the party of spoiled and lazy teachers, and the political elites.
I am sick to my stomach with such disappointment, that I've actually joined the CPC. They seem to be the only party that cares about how badly these short sighted authoritarian health edicts have hurt us.
The NDP is on borrowed time. History has been written, and hindsight never looks kindly on the authoritarians.

The Government of Canada needs to learn an important serious lesson about what a free country should be. It should be as follows: "By a free country I mean a country where people are allowed, so long as they do not hurt their neighbours, to do as they like. I do not mean a country where six men may make five men do exactly as they like. That is not my notion of freedom." Quote by Robert Gascoyne-Cecil, 3rd Marquess of Salisbury, former British Conservative politician and Prime Minister (Source: Wikiquote). Justin Trudeau and the Liberals do not seem to respect the aforementioned principle. It is very obvious with the "Order in Council" gun ban back in May 2020. Penalizing law abiding responsible citizens who are not the source of the problem is downright despicable and an absolute disgrace.

It would be nice to understand Jagmeet's views on Khalistan, a constituency of voters supporting terrorism in India, that only exist in Canada, while Sikhs in India are uninterested in it. In the meantime, our Australian brethren who are not dealing with a Khalistani votebank have been the first of the 5 eyes to sign a Free Trde Agreement with India, the 5th largest economy in the world. Trudeau lost my vote based on this even before his sheer incompetence came to light. Will Jagmeet also compromise Canadian federal interests for small BC and GTA vote banks?

Because if a LAWYER is willing to ignorantly comment on such issues of law and order.... can you really trust him to lead anyone ?

If there is such a shortage of housing why not also Target investors (individuals, companies and REITS etc) by putting limits on the numbers of 2nd hand housing units they can purchase , raising down payments and graduated taxes on them etc etc ... with less restrictions on investors focused on new development ... something like that should work I think ... IMO .... etc etc etc

I already voted and I did NDP. HOWEVER. While I totally support what the NDP candidate Singh is stating, I recognize that although I wasn't born in Canada, I have to ADJUST to my new social surroundings and customs, so I would NOT VOTE for anyone with a Mexican Charro hat even if I was born in Mexico. I feel Mr Singh would have a much bigger chance to win the Canadian FEDERAL Elections to represent ALL CANADIANS, if he at least looked like a Canadian politician. And I would ask to compare if in India a politician who looked from another culture, like Mexico for instance, would win an election there using a Mexican Charro hat while campaigning??? I DON'T THINK SO. So why risk the rejection of so many voters who refuse to be represented by someone who is so attached to a culture other than Canadian??

I have been given the "Freedom of Religion" argument, but I say this candidate has the CHOICE to decide if HIS religion is more important than being a CANADIAN Candidate, then sure follow HIS election by becoming a minister in that religion, but stop pretending to be a Canadian Prime Minister. Canadians need to be represented by SOMEONE LOOKING LIKE THEM.

JS might be great, but if a certain vote-counting company based in Toronto counts the votes, as they did last November in the states, JT has a majority "in the bag". Joseph Stalin said: "It’s not who votes that counts; it’s who counts the vote".

I am extremely disappointed in the leadership of the NDP! New Democratic Party - that's become a very sad joke. Unless by the name you mean what's New is slamming Canadian citizens for embracing democracy! I have voted many times in recent years for the NDP in hopes we could move away from the tyrannical rule of people like Harper and Trudeau. But listening to Jagmeet denigrate fellow Canadians, due to a few bad actors out of thousands of peaceful protestors, is absolutely disgusting!
