Great decks that you worked with and got in December. The books you read sound very good and I love your new athame. I hope you had a wonderful birthday. Thank you for sharing with us. 😍
Hello! 😊 I had never seen the Remembering the Fool Tarot before... 😍 After watching another 4 walk throughs, after your flip through of the cards, I bit the bullet & ordered it! It's sooo pagan... I love the feel of this deck! 😊
@@feedingmysoul1212 eeeee I hope you love it as much as I do! Hahaha I adore TH-cam for the ability to watch several people do walkthroughs to get multiple takes on a deck. Thanks for stopping to comment, I adore watching your happy cheery content!
Happy Birthday! I got that cat deck and I love it!! I love Llwellyn size cards for shuffling and I love the new packaging. It’s my 3rd cat deck but by far my favorite. I have MJ Cullainane’s deck and I love the work she did on it but it’s Hay House and the cards are huge!! Oracle sized. They are also very slippery. I usually drop the whole deck and it slips, slides and cascades on to the floor. I have Cat Tarot and it’s super cute but not RWS so it’s a little harder for me and the cards are marked differently. The guide book is great though. The pictures might not be RWS but the meaning for the card is. Anyway, Forrest Felines is adorable, easy to shuffle, easy to read. This will be my last cat deck. ☺️. It’s the perfect one. Enjoy your new decks!
@@d.m.3133 thank you for the birthday wishes! Yeah, what are Hay House cards so big and hard to shuffle?! We may never know 🤭 Thanks for stopping by and commenting! ✨
Hi ShannaDee, I just discovered your loveyLittle Bird Tarot last week & was planning to treat myself for my birthday (groundhogs day)…oh well. I was also delighted to discover you live in Oregon too as I live in Independence. And thank you for your thoughtful videos. As I said I just discovered your channel so I’ve some catching up to do as I appreciate your style. I’m always shocked when a content creator actually comments on my comment, so thank you for your sincere appreciation for (our) my effort. I almost always hit the thumbs up but usually don’t comment as my old iPad has a mosaic of cracks and it takes forever for my fingers to make a clear contact with the keyboard. I also don’t always feel I have anything to say but I will make an attempt to comment more often. Also, thanks for the Lincoln City shop share, I’ll definitely check it out when next I’m on the coast. I hope our heavy rains have only added to the health of your area and not created erosion as the Willemette River is certainly flowing full today. Blessings💫🎄💫
@@janniecemacdonald6916 Hi there and welcome! ☺️ Oh shoot, hopefully you'll be able to snag one of the remaining few decks. I will *probably* be doing a second edition so if not this time around, perhaps next time! Ohh Independence - so not too far from me! There are so many places in Oregon we've not seen yet. Yes, I hope if you make it to TahLume you love it!! ✨ 😂 About the iPad! I can understand why you would hesitate to type out much at all 🤭 And yes the Willamette is soooooo full. I drove over it this morning and was shocked how full! Thank you thank you for being here and commenting!! ✨🤎
happy birthday!! I had my eye on the enchanted forest felines deck and, like you, thought, how many cat decks does one gal need, but you may have just convinced me otherwise
@@audreyayurveda thank you, Audrey! Forest Felines has captured my heart for sure, I think you'd love it 🤭 I'm soo happy you were able to get a Little Bird Tarot too!! 🤎✨
New Subber here! Nice to meet you. I have to agree with you: I've never gotten the Seasons of the Witch decks. While I love the idea, they just don't do anything for me. Thank you for sharing, happy belated birthday.
I love your table/reading cloth. I've had the Wayhome Tarot come on and off my wish list for quite some time now. I'd love to hear how you get along with it once it comes in. How fun that you purchase decks for your work! I like that reading log notebook you have. Such a great idea as oftentimes I want to try to explain a book to someone but can't quite remember some of the pertinent details to share (things I liked and didn't like) depending on how long it's been since I've read it. I feel like it would be handy to have a little log to look back on when wanted. And your story about The Witch of Blackbird Pond was very cool! Thanks for sharing and happy 2025, Shanna 🎉
@@GentlyLivingOutLoud thank you! My grandma made it as a table runner but it fits my altar space so perfectly - like it was meant to be! I'll definitely sharey thoughts on the Wayhome Tarot! And yes the reading log is perfect as I can add pages until it's full and never feel like I have to start over with a new year or whatever. I really should stop and go over the books in my head before I hop on to film so I can properly recount at least the plot or MC name lol 🤭 Thank you for being here and stopping to comment!! 🤎✨ And Happy 2025 to you as well!
Always great when there's a new video from you! You always have beautiful decks to share! That cat deck is so cute! That is so cool that the book mentions your grandmother! It's so great to go back to those favorite books from childhood (whatever the age) and re-read and rediscover them!! Happy holiday season and new year to you!!!
@@TarotwithMimsI have a lot of fun bringing in decks that I genuinely want to try or add to my collection. Do you have any decks on your current wishlist? Ohh I saw someone make a video of their wishlist decks which I thought would be fun. I'd be interested in seeing what is on yours! Thanks for being a cheerleader for my silly little channel! 🤎
@@sincerelyshannadee Oooh, that would be a fun video to make! I would love to know some of yours! I have a huge list that I made back in the spring (when I first really fell down the rabbit hole of Tarot Tube, especially in regard to all the decks out there), and it was a whole exercise, but it was fun way to learn about most of the different publishers and how to find indie decks. That being said, I realized that it made me a bit tired and dissatisfied with my own lovely collection. I also realized, I just don't have the budget or desire to try to keep up with indie decks, at least on crowdfunding platforms. (Although, I just watched a video from Toadstool Tarot and he talked about how he shops on mpc, and I thought that was a fun technique-he just starts looking from newest to oldest). My list was in the 500 range (yikes!), but I now keep a list in my head of 5 to 10-ish that are my "priorities" and then others that pop up based on sale/price that might bump them up, or the random gift cards that I get. What a fun video to make to chat about 5-10 decks, but I don't know yet how to splice/slide in images into a video (although, that might be part of the impetus in making this video, just to learn how, since it's something I've wanted to know how to do that anyway). I don't think your channel is silly; it's lovely and fun and and sweet and calming and real and I look forward to your videos every week.
@TarotwithMims well, I'm humbled, thank you 🤎 I'm surprised by how small my wishlist is (right now) but yeah when I first came back to tarot my list was as big as yours. And it definitely fluctuates!! So many to try and test and sometimes I just wanted to see them in person, you know? What a great idea for MPC. I'll have to take some time and try that!!
@@sincerelyshannadee So many decks, what a fun problem we have! I think after making the epic list, I am finally calming down, and enjoying the decks I have! I can finally watch videos and not feel that wistful, jealous feeling. I think it helped me to see how many decks are out there, and the sources, and it does help me to have just a few priorities!
