all of hattie's decks are AI
@@anonymousanonymous850 yeah ☺️
Love the baby candles! Target is a GREAT spot for them! 🤍 Also, you found the first Birds Oracle?! AMAZING!!!!
@@hyggetarot the candles are such a fun find! ☺️✨ Yes, I was shocked to find and grab those Bird Oracles! Thanks for the inspo! 🤎
Those bird oracle decks are beautiful. Beautiful decks in your collection and always fun to see what you're up to.
@@TarotwithMims I'm so excited to have them! Thank you for hanging out here with me! ☺️
Hi Shanna. I am searching for the perfect Christmas tarot deck, but I probably won’t purchase the Hattie thorn deck just because it’s expensive and it’s AI. But I will purchase the soul cats tarot. I’ve had my eye on that one and it has a seasonal vibe for me as well. I am in week 4 of A Year in the Wildwood. I am loving the weekly card studies. I know what you mean about it feeling like homework, but I’m loving it so much, that I’m OK with it. I hope you continue it. I’d love to hear your thoughts. Thank you for sharing this video!
@@megadele65 I don't blame you one bit for not getting the Vintage Christmas! I can't understand why she marked it up so much! 🥴 I haven't given up just yet on YitW. I still have journal pages I want to fill in so I'm going to at least get thru those! I'm glad you found a seasonal deck in the Soul Cats and that you love it too! 🤎✨
Hi Shanna! Newly subscribed, so a bit behind here but looking looking forward to watching and catching up on more of your videos. I love the cloth you are using as your background, it’s beautiful - did you make it? And I was just checking out your deck in your Etsy shop and it looks lovely - those backs are amazing 😍 I have the Green Witch’s Oracle - the artwork is indeed beautiful. I really like using the Poesis Oracle. Fun to see what you are using - thanks for sharing!
@@GentlyLivingOutLoud hello! Thank you for the sub ☺️✨ I did make it! Christine Rose Elle made one and a lot of people asked her how she made it so she made a tutorial here th-cam.com/video/-J6_ACQREvA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=WzFNVv3d6NnbUzEt (the mat starts at 37 : 35) that I followed. I've made two and want to make one for each season. They're a lot of fun to create! Thank you, I am pleased with how Little Bird Tarot turned out and yes, the backs are soooo pretty! 🥰 Thank you for being here, watching and commenting! 🤎
@@sincerelyshannadee well you are very talented! I shall have to check out that tutorial, thanks for sharing 😀
I just ordered the Arcana Folia. WOW what a beauty!

@@sincerelyshannadee 💕I cannot wait!
I would do a backflip if Midnight Magic was reprinted on nice card stock 🍄🟫
@@teslagoth9401 oooof me too! I meant to show a shuffle on camera and forgot. My initial thoughts on the cardstock have changed slightly in that I can actually riffle shuffle it! But it's still a bit stiff for me. ✨☺️
I’m interested in purchasing deck 2 (bird oracle) from you. Let me know how to email you.
@@sleepyhollowtarot4901 my email is on my profile or you can message me on IG ☺️✨
Ohhh wow, I’m tired and kept reading the name on the first deck as Bad Oracle Deck not Bird Oracle Deck. 😂 I was very interested thinking it was probably going to be a very clear reader with some very specific keywords, imagine how surprised I was when then you pulled the cards out and they were birds. I’m going to go to bed now. I’ll rewatch this later.
@@roefane2258 hahahaha oh dear! Hope you slept well 🤎✨ Thanks for stopping and trying to watch! 🤭
What a pretty deck!!
It's such a fun one to pair!
I really like the cats tarot for this time of year. Cats definitely fit the cozy part of the year. ❤ Year of the Wildwood was a difficult process for me. I did do it and finish it, but I can honestly say it hindered my relationship with the deck more than anything. I *just* started using it after about 9 months after finishing the YitW. I definitely needed a break from it at the end! I do think if it's not resonating with you, don't force it. 💗 Thanks for sharing!
@@MoonflowerMoments ooof I do remember you mentioning how difficult the Year in the Wild Wood study was for you, and I think you're right. The more I force it the less enjoyable it will be. That deck is just a lot in and of itself! 🤎
I love the look of the mystic metal mats they are on my wishlist to gift myself for Christmas 😂. Omgosh that folia oracle is gorgeous ❤. Ohhhhhh the green witch oracle I don't think I've ever seen a walkthrough of that one, I'll have to look one up too. 😅
@@carriesmysticalmusings ohhh yes! A perfect excuse to buy one of the mats! What would we do without TH-cam walkthroughs?! 🤭✨ Thanks for being here Carrie! 🤎
The obsidian pendulum - yeah, obsidian is technically volcanic glass so it won't feel like other stones do. It's most likely not a fake, though!
@@ShannonLoftis oh that's so good to hear! Brilliant, I had no idea so thanks for sharing that ✨☺️
Great decks Shanna! I love the Folia so much! Gorgeous! I love the millennial. I don’t have it but I relate to it tool lol Thanks for sharing! Xoxo
@@XtineRoseElleif you wind up with the Millennial Tarot I'd love to hear what you think of it! Thanks for watching Christine! ✨🤎
I was so tempted by the vintage christmas tarot but definitely dissuaded by the price for an AI deck!! and I was also initially put off by the card stock of midnight mushroom but it's such a gorgeous reader and well worth it!
@@audreyayurveda yeah the price on the Vintage Christmas deck this year is, I'm my opinion, ridiculous. It's so funny, the Midnight Mushroom tarot is the second deck I've repurchased after rehoming because of the cardstock. And both times I have found that the cardstock is just fine to shuffle for me the second time lol 🤭 Thank you for being here, watching, and commenting!
Northern Animal tarot is totally a Fall/Winter deck for me. Shanna - I love the pariing of Remebering the Sweet Fool (One of my favorite decks ever) and the Botanicals Deck - they look fantastic!!! I'll be using those today. I've wanted a cat deck for a while now - the art is so pretty on that Cat Tarot deck. By the way - your Smoky Quartz Pendulum is gorgeous!
@@ProjectRefinedLife yes! I am thrilled with the RtSF (I adore it as well!) and The Botanicals deck 😍 If you get the Soul Cats I expect a review! 🤭😉 And thank you for being here! ✨🤎
The Christmas deck is created with AI. I contacted her personally and she did tell me it is and she also said it is heavily photoshopped. When I purchased the deck, she didn't disclose that it was and I told her I wished that she would have disclosed that. I do love the deck though, and I do not have a problem with it being AI personally. Okay still watching....LOL
@@AmethystAscensionTarot I love it too so I'll continue to enjoy and use it! 🤭✨
10:29 😂😂😂😂 not this millennial. I can’t stand those boxes either 😂😂😂 my Britney Spears oracle came in one and I was like WTH 🤦🏾♀️
@@RobynsReflections hahahaha I can't believe I said that out loud 🤭 It had to be someone who never opens these boxes! Thanks for being here Robyn!!
This is such a fun idea! I enjoyed getting to see both of these decks and looking at the artwork. Love seeing you put these together into a dream deck! This is a great, cozy video!
@@TarotwithMims aw thanks, for watching Mims! It gives me ideas for a few other decks I could do this with as well. Not sure it'd be a permanent mix n match for any other decks but fun nonetheless ☺️
I think it looks absolutely beautiful with your Little bird tarot. And then Oak, Ash and Thorn (somehow much better than Heartwood Tarot even though they similar (same artists anyway)). And oracle itself looks gorgeous!!
@@TheIlwin aww thank you! Yes, I still can't figure out exactly why OA&T looks better with it than Heartwood!
I love her art so much, but I can’t handle the quality of that glossy paper stock. I’ve often wished there was a luxury version of her decks.I love how you combined them!
@@XtineRoseElle ohh bummer! It is a little thin, but it doesn't feel floppy. It's more satin than glossy! Are you comparing it to her Talisman? I'll have to see if they're the same.
Love the idea of combining two decks to make one ideal deck! For me personally, I do not like when animals are dressed up like people or when they are behaving like people, so my choices probably would’ve been a bit different than yours, but I love what you did here!
@@megadele65 I totally get that. It's definitely not my preference but something about her imagery makes it ok hehe ☺️ I'm so excited to use the deck for a spread!
You have such an eye for pairings. I love all of these honestly. This seems like such a versatile oracle! Keep me updated on how Mushroom Hunter's treats you. ❤
@@MoonflowerMoments thank you 🤭 I'm super excited about it which doesn't happen often with oracles! And I will! MH is such a cute deck 🤎🍄
Love a lot of these pairings. I plan on using it with the Little Bird and Antique Anatomy for sure! I am also going to try my Tarot of the Abyss to see if the contrast between the richly detailed black and white deck works with these jewel tones.
@@linda42tarot ohhh I'd like to see TotA with it as well! Thanks for letting me know it was in my mailbox lol 🤭
Awww i hope this gets released in the UK. No shipping to the UK. Fabulous pairings
@@janine100473 oh no! I hope so too! 🤎
Just ordered this deck so really appreciate this video, looking at the outlaw oracle (which I don’t have) I wonder if it will go with the Death Doula Oracle? I look forward to trying that, this deck makes my neglected teenage self so happy 😅.
Ohhh I hadn't thought of pairing it with The Outlaw Oracle! I'll have to look and see how they speak with each other, thanks for the suggestion!
I was capitulated into perimenopause at age 40 when going through my divorce. Everything was awful and I felt like my body was betraying me. I wish I would’ve had tarot and the other tools I have now but I just struggled through blindly. Just know…once it is “over” it gets easier. I am still settling into my crone era 😂
@@linda42tarot that's such a relief to hear because it's just a lot to process all the time! I'm so glad we have tarot *now* to help us through all the stuff yet to come! ✨☺️💞
The housewives tarot was a perfect representation for the perimenopause stage. I'm through that now but I still relate to everything you mentioned and that deck can be a snarky B* when I read with her 😂 Death doula is definitely an oracle I want to add to my collection and what a wonderful deck to use for processing the endings you go through in this stage of life.
How did I miss this comment?! Haha about Housewives! Yes, the few times I've flipped through and played with it, I definitely get that vibe! I put it away after the video but really need to pull it back out to use - I think the energy would be fantastic right now! Thanks for being here Carrie, even when I'm slow to reply!

@@Simpleseeker-i6x aww thank you! 🤎☺️
11:38 Oh yes, we *do* care. 💖
Aww thank you for saying so 💞 I'll do better to pause and go get the book next time! 💛
@@sincerelyshannadee Oh, it's less about getting the book and more caring about your connection with your grandmother. I talk to my family through playing cards, my grandmother's "thing". And my mother is particularly chatty through sibilla, for some reason. 🙂
@@JudyReadsCards oh that's interesting! I'd never heard of Sibilla - I had to Google it. Is it similar to Lenormand?
@@sincerelyshannadee They have some similar cards, like a dog representing loyalty, but they feel very different to me. Lenormand feels more matter-of-fact, whereas sibilla, in my case Italian sibilla, is more emotional, more intimate. With 52 cards to Lenormand's 36, there are more 'people' cards, and they all wear their feelings and motivations on their sleeve, LOL.
@@JudyReadsCards that sounds like a wonderful system, I'll check it out! ☺️
Oh yes! It definitely is her deck not mine. I bought the Mary El for the same reason for my Paternal Grandmother these decks aren't mine they are theirs and anytime I am drawn to use them zi know they are there!
@@souldreamer8571 yes! It's so funny how that works! ☺️ Thanks for stopping to watch and comment!
Omg! I use the Forgsers Daughter for the same reason. I too have the After light edition and I bought it because zi realized this is her deck. My Dad 's mom who has been gone for over 30 years! Wow!
@@souldreamer8571 aww I love that!! 🤎✨
I love this pairing. I have Light Seers and you've just sold me on Cowgirls and Aliens. I think it will also pair well with Dream Visions Tarot and Sacred Creators Oracle and others I have.
Thanks for stopping to watch and comment! I bet Cowgirls and Aliens would look good with just about all of Chris Anne's decks!
I’ve never done a marathon but I use to love running 10ks and halfs and the training process, especially if I’m running with a friend, was always so satisfying. I was a slow runner too I think my BEST time on a 10k was 36ish but I remember the first time I ran a half in just under 3hrs I was soooooo excited 😅 tbh I never really cared about the time as long as I finished and I didn’t finish last I was pretty happy 😂. I agree with you. If you run, you are a runner. End of story. There’s something about the training and then the first minutes of the race that just feel so great. Happy training 😍
Thank you! It's so cool that you used to run! A few runners have come out of the woodwork since I've started posting about it, which of course I love! I'm not sure I'll ever do another full marathon 😅
This book and the wildwood tarot look like a great way to spend the year! I'm in, but I may be a week or two behind, at first. I love these chats and I enjoy your training cycle spreads!
Yay!! I'm so glad you're joining in. No worries on the timeline, it's pretty loose anyway ☺️
I just got my year with wildwood book in the mail today! I found a used wildwood tarot on thrift books and that should be coming in the mail in the next week or two! Super excited!!! Thanks!!
I just bought the book for Wildwood and plan to start November 1st, so I’ll be following along! I can’t wait to dive into this deck. I trimmed mine and need to edge it now. I’m a slow runner too, but I my goal is to enjoy myself and run for as many years as I can. Slow is perfect for those goals!
@@saltedmoon oh yay, glad to have you along! ☺️ I need to look up what it looks like trimmed - do/can you riffle shuffle it trimmed? Yes! Slow and steady all the way! Thanks for stopping to watch and comment!! ✨
@@sincerelyshannadee I overhand shuffle but I gave it a go, and it wasn’t easy. I don’t know if it would soften up with time though. But it looks great! I left the titles on and edged it in dark green that matches the back. It’s such a beautiful deck either way. 😊
I'm the same way about the font sizes 💀 maybe it's a creator-brain thing? Also...is the oracle deck the Spiritual Meaning of Birds by Arin Murphy-Hiscock? I saw it on Amazon the other day, have been meaning to tell you but I kept forgetting. It looks like it would pair perfectly with Little Bird!
@@ForestMoonMaiden haha I think it must be! I can't imagine leaving them the way they are. And HAHA I DO have Spiritual Meaning of Birds one on my wishlist and also I'm soooo so glad I was able to get Little Bird out before this was "announced" because I would have been devastated! It's going to be so perfect! The deck I was referring to is Spirits in Flowers oracle. It's very similar to the Voynich but I imagine will be more "for the masses" than Voynich, which hopefully will work better AND has multi-colored backgrounds 🤭✨
I love your readings on the fly. Great decks and I can’t wait to see what your updated deck is. Also, I hear you on the vulnerability/exposure thing. Don’t even feel bad about taking care of yourself in this way. Sometimes we don’t know how personal something is going to feel until we put it out there. Great books too. The witches book is on my reading list too. Darcy Coats is very young. We had to read one for a workshop and it was a struggle because of the YA factor. Thanks for sharing Shanna! Xo
@@XtineRoseElle for a minute I felt bad that I had unfairly given a bad review to a young adult book thankfully it's for adults so my review stands BUT I can appreciate more the book if I were to look at it from a younger person's lens. I'll be honest I think part of my issue was that instead of swearing in the book she used words like heck and crap. Growing up in a community where that was the worst language you were allowed to use it was a little triggering (which sounds ridiculous I know). I *am* looking forward to our next "assignment" I'll just be more mindful of what I choose to share 🤭
I’m always glad when you have a new video! I think it’s neat that you give jobs to your decks. Your book journal pages are really pretty. I was a big Judy Blume reader growing up, so interesting to hear your perspective on Are You There God? If you want a cute movie, they made it into a movie last year, and it sticks pretty close to the book. There was a also documentary about Judy Blume released last year, maybe around the same time. I can’t do horror, but maybe I could that one that’s not so scary. I may try it. Beautiful photos at the end, and loved your hiking footage (puns potential galore).
@@TarotwithMims I bet you could handle this not-scary book! There are a couple chase scenes with "scuttling", some macabre flasback-type scenes but that's as scary as it got. They were very short, and there wasn't really any build up so I never had that "omg what's going to happen??!!" feelings. If you wind up reading it I'd like to hear what you thought! 🤎
Love the great outdoors paired with prairie majesty I will definitely have to try those together. I read are you there God it's me Margaret in 5th grade in the 80s and then it became a banned book for awhile.
@@carriesmysticalmusings hahaha man! Of course it did 🙄
Omg those hiking clips. It’s been years since I’ve been to Oregon. I really want to visit again and used to dream of moving there. PNW is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing!

Shanna, I really enjoyed your video. I have to admit it's hard to find the line of just how much to share on this platform. You know, I've had the Crow Tarot for several years now. I still use it from time to time but you made a very good point about it lacking depth and distinction within the art. I loved the beautiful forest walk, the lizard and the sunbeams.
@@ProjectRefinedLife it is!! I love being here but yeah it's an easy line to cross! The little guy is a newt, which is an amphibian (I had to Google the difference 🤭). They're so weird looking and blend in - we almost missed him! As always, thank you for being here 🤎
