    That handguard looks the exact same as a couple of the ones on my PSA AR's... Definitely a cool gun I've had good luck using Franklin Armory products they've always works great for me and it's affordable. Hopefully they can pull Bushmaster out the gutter where Remington left them... Great video as always keepem coming brother!!!

      The website says it’s being “perfected.” 🙄 Which I guess is a good thing… for all its cool features, it certainly wasn’t without some flaws/quirks that made it a less than “must have.” So, I am curious as to what they come up with, insofar as evolutionary improvements. In fact, I would’ve liked to see Bushmaster focus entirely on the ACR as their 5.56 product line… but, I guess fiscally ignoring the cookie cutter ARs is not financially feasible or smart. 🤷🏽‍♂️

    It's nice to see someone else likes anti-rotation tabs. Thank you! And my God! A more prominent person who prefers single stage over two stage. In my opinion, two stages are only good for slow, long range shooting. Thank you!

    • @dnaka2001
      @dnaka2001 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      While you can use a two stage for rapid firing by being careful with the reset, I agree. Single stage triggers don’t get the love they deserve. I have two hiperfire single stage triggers (2.5 lbs.) that I love. They are fast and have zero take up.

    Awesome video on the Bushy test. I have a Bushy I purchased over 25 years ago. Of course, doctored up to my liking. I have a close friend who is an AR armorer who ask me if I wanted a two-stage trigger. I told him no as I was accustomed to the single-stage since my days in NAM with my M16. I've had numerous AR15s since my days in hell before two-stage was...one was. Whether it is something I have acquired in ages past I cannot get used to the 2 stage trigger. I tried quite a few ARs with 2 stages but I can't get comfortable with them. Maybe too old to learn new tricks, but at 100 yards I can do three-round groups touching each other with the single-stage...well I was using a Bushy Varminter which they no longer carry.
    A very informative video, I hope Bushy can get a hold of themselves better than they have been. I got completely away from Bushy for quite a few years. It will have to be proven before I lean in that direction. LMT is my favorite now. Good video, looking forward to your style of instructions.

      I think youre missing the point he was getting at. He was trying to show what kind of accuracy the barrel was capable of.. Wind and unsupported slippery conditions will skew the results with any weapon, and he was just trying to give it a good run for its money showing the pinpoint accuracy it's capable of(which it still did good tbh). In combat sports it doesn't matter if you loose that 1/4" moa or whatever, so it doesn't really matter.

      3000 FPS is almost always a 20” if not a 24” bolt action. They love to quote it on the box but if ya dig into it, it’s never a 16” or less than 20” on hot loads

    • @xCrimsonxTidex
      @xCrimsonxTidex 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bushmaster was bought by the Freedom Group, so the OGs at Bushmaster made Windham Weaponry. Essentially all Bushmasters were made by Remington in Maine, then Huntsville, Alabama until the Sandy Hook settlement. Apparently Franklin Armory bought them out and this rifle is a Franklin rifle of sorts.
