    I really do wish I had done these simple mods sooner. Considering how much of a difference I think it adds to the overall look of the car it's worth it. Even if the product is mostly for looks it's a great look!

    I put these on my 04 no sticker fade on 2 years. If I recall they have the 3 m ones and the clip on ones that clip into the window/door channel which I I installed no waiting to dry.

    Yeah I ended up buying some super cheap sunvisors with the 3M sticker sticker on it it was so hot last summer They melted in Concord and boat out so I would desperately tell you to buy the expensive ones like the ones you got at the cheap $24 eBay ones I bought and that windshield hood guard is fantastic I got one as well elements looking good man

      Hey that's awesome I've had mine 2 years now and they are holding up strong 💪
      As far as the roof rack I am using the Ants brand from Amazon that hold the weight of the tent when driving. Fair warning the racks don't fit the best which you can see the reviews but man they work good and I have had no issues for the price of $125 they are not bad.

    Does the work table sag down when you type on your laptop? I get that you can put things on top. I'm just hesitant to get one because I feel like the table is going to sag down and it would be too uncomfortable to type and do work for long periods of time. Does that make sense?

    • @ReadySetElement
      @ReadySetElement  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No this does not sag down, I've rested our jackery on it and it holds.

    • @ReadySetElement
      @ReadySetElement  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dude I am very impressed with them man. I honestly thought they would of sucked for the price of $120 on Amazon but they look like the OEM ones however they are stronger and hold the weight of our heavy tent.

    Wilson, do you have an aftermarket stereo in your Element? I have been watching so many Element videos, but I have one more question for you. Are you the one who put larger Honda Wheels from an Accord on your Element with some offset?

    • @ReadySetElement
      @ReadySetElement  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, we do have an aftermarket stero it came with the car. We did put wheels from a 15 EX accord I have videos of it but honestly, I did not like the ride quality.

      Hi @Rochelle Pinet , our element came with them already when we bought it used. I believe I've seen the covers on Amazon but can run a little pricey. I've seen them at junk yards just need to be cleaned and washed.

    Man. That bugflector ll has been giving me issues big time. I tried installing it 3x with no success. I really want to get it on there, but between the plastic pins they send with it not fitting properly & then the hood not closing all the way, once I finally was able to get it on with the OEM clips, it's such a headache. You must have gotten a perfect one.

    • @ReadySetElement
      @ReadySetElement  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dang really? I'm sorry about your experience. I did use the clips that the car already had in that area.

    • @ReadySetElement
      @ReadySetElement  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Even installed one for my friends element and didn't have any issues.

    • @wizzdumb2971
      @wizzdumb2971 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ReadySetElement I finally got it on earlier today. It was partially my fault. I didn't realize the 2 rubber things on the left & right side determined how much of a gap you get between the hood. One side was twisted more than the other causing it to not close all the way. I did also have to modify the OEM clips a little by clipping a little bit off of each side with a nail clipper to get it to go thru the rubber, the visor & into the hood. Finally, after 3 weeks I was able to figure it all out. Lol. Now, on my next day off, the plan is to paint the rims & smoke out the lights all around.

    I just installed the hood bug deflector on my '11 and it doesn't close easily...I might be removing it until I find a solution. The window vent deflectors, do the front windows close easily? I bought Weathertech for my Scion XD and they didn't close the same, like there was resistance...I worried that this would affect my power window motor. I like the passenger tray table and your windshield tint strip. Classy background music and great overall videos! Perfect narration. If all videos were like yours!!!
    Up date: I did remove the deflector as it only kept half of my windshield bug free and rocks still made their way to my windshield. Size of rock and angle of projection makes a big difference. Plus the hood DID NOT close properly with the deflector installed. Use at your own discretion. In Seattle will sell- half price$$

    • @ReadySetElement
      @ReadySetElement  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Bruce thanks for much for the kind words. It makes us happy to know you enjoyed our video. So your exact same worry about there being a resistance was mine also. Thankfully with the AVS brand I didn't experience that issue and haven't yet. When you install the hood deflector did you make sure all the clips where put back all the way in ? When I first did it I forgot to push some of them in and it wasn't closely like you said.
      Thanks again for watching be sure to follow our channel for more videos like this. 😁🙏👍

    Love your channel but here’s a question to the element community. I’ve been looking for one out here in Florida and most have been run down and beat up. I finally found a beautiful 05 ex with 171k miles. I’m a little worried about the mileage but I’ve seen people getting 250-300k with these. This guy is also asking 6k for it. Is this the range to find them?

    • @ReadySetElement
      @ReadySetElement  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We are humbled by the kind words, thank you. I see so it's a 05 EX with 171k miles correct ? Asking price was 6k ? It all comes down to how the previous owner took care of the car. My friends element in my sky diving video need up bought his for that price and it had around the same mileage and now it has almost 300k on it. He drives that thing through the desert every day in SoCal and it holds up with heavy tools.
