- Kelly knows all about addiction. She opens up about her life, including growing up in Los Angeles while both of her parents were addicted to drugs. She started running away at 13. At 16, she met a group of kids who were from California, and they all started hopping trains, traveling all over the country. She fell in live with the Grateful Dead and would follow them when they were touring. She ultimately got addicted to drugs herself and found herself homes on the streets of Baltimore, MD. She talks about the struggles that come along with that life.

She’s articulate even while suffering in the streets. I wish her all healing ❤️🩹
This interview was excellent. The interviewer had compassion and yet impartiality. Thank you.
Thanks so much for the support, Melinda. It's definitely appreciated. 🙏
He’s the best!! Every interview
@@dwrod24 I appreciate you! 🙏
Seems like he can understand
@@mob4336 🙏
I love her honesty and ability to be real. She’s broken but still very strong. Go ravens
Well said, Katie. She's definitely dealing with a lot of pain, but I commend her for her strength.
Oh sis, I can hear you're in pain and I understand. Sending light, love and hopes for your spirit to find the strength to break the cycles and self love returns ❤🌱🫂
Great words you gave. She's definitely dealing with pain. I'm rooting for her. 🙏
@@unheardvoices_official Addicts always talk about crimes committed against them but forget the crimes they commit against others. But they are entitled because the're white.
And they stink
@@fjc11212 Who stinks? I'm confused. Lol

I'm so sorry your going thru this. I was addicted for 20 years. I've been clean years now. I'm a old lady now but I remember those days and all the hell that came with it. I'll be praying for you sweetie. Sending love your way. ❤❤❤
Congratulations on getting clean, Karen. I love to hear that. I just hit 10 years clean myself last month, but I definitely remember those days and all the pain that came with it as well. I'm rooting for Kelly. 🙏
Every interview you do is excellent. Keep it up! 👏👏
This is do sad -you do great, compassionate interviews-addiction is so hard -I hate that these kids are abusing these people
Thank you! I truly appreciate the support. And yes, I hate it, too.
Great video. I'm also here in Baltimore. I can relate to her story a lot. 💜
I'm in Maryland, too. I can relate as well. I was addicted to drugs myself for 18 years. I just hit 10 years clean last month. I hope everything is good with you.
She’s sooo clear speaking. I am shocked she is in this deep and can speak so clearly and so educated. She’s a good person-you can tell.
She's definitely a good person. She's been battling addiction for a long time. It's hard when your parents are addicts as well.
Wishing you peace & wellness Kelly. Your final statement on why drugs don't work was brilliantly insightful. Don't give up on yourself. 🙏
Thanks so much for the kind words towards Kelly and for supporting the channel. You're right. Her words were very insightful. I'm rooting for her. 🙏
@@unheardvoices_official Her raw honesty & self awareness/ emotional intelligence is evident despite the situation she is (currently) in. By the grace of God go all of us. Drugs are a bloody scourge. It feels like humanity is going in the wrong direction these times. To remove the chemical dependency is only one element. Trying to restore self esteem, purpose & the frailties of the human condition too is a tall order but worth fighting for. It's frustrating & troubling to think she is bouncing from one rehab to another yet not staying off hard drugs. She is clearly an intelligent & bright person. Please God she can get her life back on track. 🙏
Thank you for covering Baltimore!!! I do so many searches for addict interviews in Baltimore cuz EVERY ONE does Kensington and it’s 2 different worlds. The scramble pills in Baltimore are something very hard to explain
The scramble is definitely hard to explain. And I definitely had to cover Baltimore. Things are getting worse here. I'd love to raise awareness about it and help some people along the way.
can u explain how its so much different from kensington? i know what scramble is its the cheaper mix correct?
@ldillon9207 Yes, it's cheaper. Scramble is primarily used for shooting, I believe, while raw is used for shooting most of the time. I don't think Baltimore is too much different than Kensington in the sense that both are really bad with a drug and homeless problem. I'm from Maryland, so I'm used to Baltimore, I guess. Kensington was a complete shock to me when I first saw it.
Amazing interview. She has great v insight. I truly hope she gets the help she needs. Oh my
Intelligent woman. Go Kelly! From New Zealand
I like her and lived a lot of her story. She inspires immense compassion.
@@atomusbliss I feel her story as well. And yes, she does inspire immense compassion.
MY heart goes out to her.... i hope she finds her happiness, sobriety and support
I do, too, Andrea.
I couldn’t tell this was the same Kelly from the 2nd video. Two different presentations, energy and look. Wow
@spitfirestake54 It's crazy what drugs can do. Plus, she lost her glasses after the first interview. She's genuinely a good person, though, and I'm really rooting for her.
She didnt even have a chance with those parents. Shes kind for not bringing a child in this situation.
God bless you sis. I’m praying for you to make it to the other side of this!!
I definitely am as well. 🙏
“My parents were addicts” that’s all you need to know to understand why this beautiful soul is so broken. Hard drugs are pure evil. The lives they destroy and the collateral damage they cause absolutely delight Satan. Christ is the only answer. 🙏
Well said, Daniel. They're definitely evil and cause a ton of collateral damage.
May God bless em all.
Absolutely! 🙏
This girl is BEAUTIFUL. I really hope she gets help. Sure it’s hard to quit when you’re in the epi center
For sure. 🙏
She could be saved....she's a very bright person just doesn't have the support she needs
Yea something similar happened to me. I had worked 16/17 days july- august last year was exhausted didnt even get my methadone that day they put on narcan drip. Sent me in some cardiac issues( i just got cleared by cardiologist last month) ran my heart rate 120 some nurse told me thats nuts she said that happened to her
Damn, that's crazy. I'm glad everything turned out ok.
kinda concerned that they are allowed to donate plasma that goes to people in hospitals and such
Good point.
You should do a interview in Hamden. That’s where I was raised. There’s a big problem there with opiates. A lot of good people. The Avenue and Roosevelt Park. Thirty years ago this young woman might have had a drinking problem, may be not but her life would have been so much better in a comfortable house with family and friends. Now it’s just a nightmare.
I'll definitely check those areas out. And you're right. A lot of it is just a nightmare now.
@@unheardvoices_official Thanks. You can find a lot of the down and out on the Avenue in Hampden outside the Royal Farm Store. Great videos. Soft White Underbelly has some extreme stories as well.
Sad
They make medicine out of plasma among other things. She shouldn’t be allowed to donate plasma.
America...........
Do better ......
Much better.......
Help peeps properly until they can help themselves........
This was difficult to view.....
Seeing all the good vibes I have in hope for you ....
One x
I hope his situation improves. 🙏
Shes a really nice woman , would like to meet her
