Plus everyone skin is different don’t let someone bully you for wearing sunscreen. When I was younger I was bullied for it when I was at the Boys & Girls clubs. Screw that. Protect that melanin skin y’all!!
Just discovered you and even though we couldn't be more different (I'm older and white) I feel like we're sunscreen sisters. Right now, the only thing my Baby Ass Eyes can handle is Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Milk.

I just bought the purito and etude sunscreens, and I'm so happy. Now I can wear sunscreen without being a ghost, oil slick, or stinging my eyes. Thank you.
First, I want to thank you for the Aveeno sunscreen you recommended in a previous video! It has honestly changed the sunscreen game in my house full of kids. Second, I know that sun sticks are not your favorite, but if you are willing to try again 😅 the Neutrogena Beach Defense stick has been working for me. Now to be perfectly honest, I use this as a reapply sunscreen only (I start the day with the Trader Joes Supergoop! dupe, highly recommend!), and I keep it in my car/diaper bag. It goes on shiny until you rub it in, and it has been surviving our Phoenix summertime sun blasts. Thank you again! Keep up the amazing work!
I used to love the hyggee until the alcohol suddenly started irritating my skin😭was halfway thru the bottle. Despite the natural finish, it was definitely moisturizing, even for my dry skin
@@SheReaDelSol yesss I need all the hydration I can get😩but the hyggee did a great job at keeping the skin from drying throughout the day. That’s something I experience with matte/natural sunscreens, especially if they’re too lightweight
Thank you for an excellent video! I’m a huge sunscreen fan and have definitely struggled finding my HG (still have not found it!). During the summer, it feels hard to find a great one that I’m not a shiny mess by the time I make it to work but it’s fun trying different ones. Can agree, the Hygee is great though. Have also used the Tocobo stick but only on my neck and for reapplication when out and about. It’s pretty nice too. As a combo dark skin gal, I appreciate your work!
I think they usually add it because it is a better and broader protection to the sun, so you need less of this to achieve higher spf rating, but it is very finicky and plays as a mineral filter so it's unfortunate that they haven't figured out a broad spectrum filter with the positives of Tinosorb M without the cast 😭 (Tinosorb S comes close, but it does provide less protection)
I think we can presume that when an excellent product suddenly _isn’t_ 🤨it’s because they switched to cheaper ingredients. Thanks for this.

Traders Joes has a really good sunscreen if you haven’t tried it yet.
Does the Isntree one fit oily skin?
I think it’s best for dry or balanced skin. Biore sunscreens are best for oily skin.
