He says that now he's finally comfortable with his voice. And I mean, you could hear that on the records too. From TTYG to ABAP. His voice just became better and more distinctive. Probably because he stopped being afraid of it.
I actually think that 3:51 was the high point of this song. I think it's because that's not the recorded melody and I DEFINITELY wasn't expecting the high harmony. It was pure amazingness. I want this guy's voice so freaking bad....I can only hope, pray and wish that one day they start playing together again.

These are auto toned but its not a bad thing almost every single live performance now uses auto tune, Especially if its going to be televised. Also there are different degrees of auto tune. You can use it just too fix your pitch without it being noticeable. Not everyone using auto tune has to sound like lil wayne.
