I have a 2019 X5 and I got the part but will not go inside as likely inner half part is still inside and I cannot take it out. Do you know the way to do it? Thank you for your video and help!
The end / nipple falls off the rubber gasket, due to wear and tear. That is enough to stop the release from working as intended. Replacement part number is: 8.228939.2 ( EU ) 51178228939 ( US )

why do I put a key on my x5 and when I press the gas door it opens... I thought it wouldn't open anymore
