Full cat-back UUC Corsa TSE3 exhaust. .... and fully stock oem intake and filter because any other filter is no bueno for the clean breathe and no engine issues.

The problem with these BMW's is to get any performance gains you have to spend lots of $$$. Tires, suspension etc are good ways to go, but when it comes to adding hp/trq it becomes very pricey very quick. Some people recommend adding a cold air intake to add 10hp for $300. In my opinion, it's not worth it.

I just see everybody making them look good and doing nothing else... I know that the e36s are very rewarding when you build em up, assuming these are too
Lol black kidney is only nice on some cars. I like the chrome accents along with the black, looks more gangster on my ZHP especially since they match the rare wheels.

You totally could've just generalized on painting the brake calipers in general. I don't think you want everyone driving the same car as you, that just defeats the purpose. You totally should have just titled this video "My Top 7 Best First Mods", which is still oddly contradictive. More like "Check out My 7 e46 Mods". It's just that most of these mods are oddly specific, and are clearly opinion-based. Like I wanted to clown so hard, because I love cracking jokes. I just decided to be constructive instead. Like instead of "muffler delete", go with "bicycle tire with soda can". It still conveys the same idea, perhaps more efficiently, despite using more words. Last thing: Go back to that POS shop that ripped you off by charging you an offensively exploitative amount for basically using a saws-all on your muffler, and get them to give you a proper straight-pipe set-up. These things are actually meant to sound beefier than that Dx-Civic-with-a-Can sound. Keep it up though, dude. They'll continue to get better.

Why no actual performance mods? I’m getting an e46 for my first car and I’m gonna do a bunch of shit to it. Exhaust, Wheels, suspension, coil overs and intake. If there’s anything I’m missing lemme know.
These are ricer mods. Literally best thing to do to e46s is eBay headers, A rear muffler delete, BC coils, OEM+ wheels (not aftermarket) and last the best thing… 3.46 rear diff. Or if you can afford an M3 rear end 3.64 LSD diff.
Also bigger rims mess's with gear ratio's in the trans and diff. before doing this do some research and math so you don't eff up your cars people! Don't just throw crap on cuz it looks if you wanna keep it working right!
Kodak Fatt I had this question as well. I looked into it and the only option is to either lose heat/ac, or relocate the panel to the small compartment above the ashtray. If your car came with factory navigation, the controls are already relocated and the head unit is just plug and play.
@@qmarq haha. very funny. but i bought it as a project. needs a valve spring replaced. i’m just going to replace the whole head. 75k miles. in fact it runs with a broken valve spring it’s just not healthy. should go till 100-120k. hopefully by then i will have the funds for a 4-600hp 2jz swap or something absolutely ridiculous. crate engine, LS, something.

@@qmarq i paid 1,500 USD for mine. 5 speed manual. drilled slotted rotors, aftermarket suspension, ect. about 9k in work not including the engine swap. new complete head costs 500 usd so i will only be 2,000 in it. since purchasing i have definetly seen running ones with about 150k miles for 1.5-2k. i’m totally hyped for it. just the little bit i’ve ran it before i fix it i’m in love lol. the straight pipe sounds so good!

The subframe is only an issue if it's pre-facelift. They fixed that issue in the 2002 year models.

when you change the rims from 17 to 19 you also need to change at least harder springs on stock suspension.
The e46 coupes after 01' come stock with sport suspension

Got my M wheel for about 80 bucks, it has some wear marks but those are self fixable
