- Here's a fun way to come up with bass & sub grooves if you're feeling uninspired. Also if you feel like you have a bunch of samples and don't know how to turn them into something more unique, try this out :).

This was my secret sauce 😅 but glad you are showing creative ways to come up with interesting sequences. Funny thing little fact, I was the one who suggested a randomized function on the note triggered modulator which I think makes it even more powerful now
Thanks for that awesome contribution, man! :)
teşekkürler gerçekten harika bir eklenti .sen olmassan haberim olmazdı
Very cool idea! I really liked that stabby rhythm at 2:32!
The results are really fun, yeah! :D

Ahah At 7,25 you said it man. Ro minimal ! 😉
Haha, yes! :D
how are all of those different notes are going to be in the same key as the song? wouldn't that play a role in making sure you stay in harmony?
Does the sampler automatically tune everything in C? Or how does it actually works? Would be cool to change the tonality using a scaler or something like that
Nope, there's no tuning involved here. You'd have to do that manually. Perhaps tools like Melodyne might help (haven't tried that though).
Hey Kevin you call it organic house , I call it Ro minimal house ;)
Can I use this in 12??? I miss my sequencers
You should be able to use this is 12, yes!
th-cam.com/video/B_MPmptvKhM/w-d-xo.html 7:20 "now this feels more like minimal house to be honnest..." MAN THATS EXACTLY WHY I KEPT WATCHING :D
Thanks for watching 😄
Not another Sting tutorial!
Yeah I know. I'm addicted to that thing :D
Slicing the collection of samples, tweaking the sound and effects is all great 👍🏻 What I do like less is using that Sting plugin… yes it’s nice for inspiration or happy accidents, but it keeps you from creatively composing what’s on your mind… just like a AI can write you a story, but it’s not your story.
En toute fin c'est à nous que revient le choix d'utiliser ou non les propositions. L'idée est de quitter nos chemins musicaux quotidiens et d''en essayer d'autres. Cela ne peut être qu'enrichissant.
Yes, you're absolutely right! Thanks for your comment.
@@thierrykucharski well of course, that’s what I’m saying. And on the other hand there’s something like learning to express what’s on your mind, too.
This is a tool, you can still output the midi to a new track and edit it yourself. For instance if you are a painter and you need to paint your canvas one single color, are you gonna use a tiny brush? No. You will choose the tool that can best do the job for your artistic purpose.
The technology and technique used in the video are far different from an AI that soullessly does things, there was intent and playfulness when creating. Moreover, the most important thing in my opinion is that this is a repeatable process for creating a specific type of bass groove or texture, and the sound created depends much more on the person in front of the computer than the algorithms inside, especially because he selects the samples.
@@me3tthebeatthanks for your explanation. And yes, it's a tool... but it differs from using another 'brush' to express your thoughts. It's a tool that randomly generates 'strokes' for you. Furthermore, AI doesn't have to include Deep Learning or Machine Learning. In that sense AI is also a calculator that's helping you to perform numeric calculations faster... it's a computer-based tool using algorithms to perform the task for you. So again, I'm not saying you shouldn't use it at all... it's great for 'happy accidents' and getting inspired.
What about the key? You drop random samples
Actually the bass loop is in B minor, so any notes that are sliced will be in the B minor scale.
@@LostTouristOfficial 0:28 all these loops have different keys, major and minor. So I don't get it 😁
Great question, mate. It definitely makes sense to use samples within the same key. For sub bass sounds however the key becomes less noticeable (especially with the bandpass auto filter applied). If you're doing this for melodies, I'd recommend using samples within the same key ;)
@@lotustunesacademy thank you!
@@NullCreativityMusic You're welcome! :)
Need a fl studio tutorial of this ❤️
