When set up correctly, a 110 roller will often shoot like a 140cm double band gun. A roller kit is great if you want less recoil and more power. The trigger mechanisms in Beuchat's roller speargun and the hero should be the same so you shouldn't have any issues with that. You may be able to find a Beuchat roller head, however, I would prefer something like a MannySub roller head. There is no real anchor point for your roller bands on the hero though, so you'll either have to have your bands anchored around the trigger guard or through the reel mount, which will significantly decrease the life of them unless you untie them each time you're done diving, or drill through the sides of the barrel and add anchor points yourself. You can find anchor points online. It will take trial and error to get your gun set up correctly, with band thickness and length/pretension, and shaft thickness. If you're up for that it could be a fun project, if not, it may be better to buy a prebuilt roller from a brand like Rob Allen or Pathos if you want something more similar to Beuchat spearguns.
Hello, I',m enjoying your contents, keep up the good work! I have recently attached a roller headd on my beuchat hero 110. The problem is that today the trigger failed and the trigger has gotten stuck on the plastic part...I am not sure if I need to change the whole trigger now Is the tirgger for beuchat hero/ and beuchat hero revo concept identical? Do you sell them ?
Bought this gun a while ago. I love it, it has a very sensitive trigger though, so be careful.
