The Saint Josephs Church was built in the late 1700's and still stands even though it has been abandoned since 1994

Unfortunately I stumbled across a article today, 4 people broke in on Halloween and had a party. They rang the bells and then started a fire inside. Luckily no damage to structural aspects. Just interior smoke damage. Place is being watched closer
Be a good steward my friend. Look after the church. Get in touch with the new owners (now that it is for sale for $100,000.oo. Is that neighborhood around the church well kept or is it a slum? I’m surprised it wasn’t been set a blaze. From the agents 24 pictures on the sight, it’s a magnificent hammer beam roof that is real. It’s really holding up all those stone slates most definitely quarried in Wales and sent over as a ballast in one of those early ocean liners of the 1890’s. The gothic structure is a new church in its day, and replacing what may’ve been the old original church structure. The Church is not a building, it is a People. However, a church structure can evoke strong vibrations of holiness in repose. All it would take, is one vandal to stop and quietly kneel in the rubble and gaze at the hammered away high altar and ask…..Lord, are you still there?

Be safe, the most dangerous things at abando locations. Weak floors/roof, air contamination and rogue people.

I am sorry. St. Joseph's Church is not abandoned, it is live. Our Lord Jesus is there, come and visit Him and He will give you peace and love. My wife and I go there every morning for Mass and Prayers at St. Joseph's Parish in Langley with others where we all find love, peace and tranquility. We have soup kitchen there once a week on Tuesdays for the Homeless people.
Gods love will always be there
