- In this video, I demonstrate how to safely and efficiently travel through closed doorways with a white cane. This is a very important safety skill for people who are blind and visually impaired.
This video is meant to be a review of the technique and not a replacement for meeting with an O&M Specialist.

Thanks something for me to remember when I go out to eat and new places thanks
I do something similar when I’m in familiar stores when I Shoreline in the aisle to keep me on an outer edge of an aisle out of the main walkway, so I don’t walk into people and then I shoreline my way around to say a counter, and I anchor the cane at the edge of the counter and make my way up to the counter
