Sounds like the pencil tip did best at audibly notifying the person but which were more tactile in reaponse? I would imaging the bigger ones would drag more and help one feel the puddle.
as someone who uses pencil it’s true. I’ll use it to find puddles and then immediately step in them lol
Oh the roller ball sounds so delightful
Thank you for this. Super sounds!
Your videos like this are so satisfying and I'm sure so helpful to those with visual impairments 💗
I love these sounds
I honestly didn't know there were so many cane tips. It's cool that there's many options
Wow I didn’t know there were soo many different tips!!! But I’m wondering what is the purpose of them??is it just preference 🤔🤔
Make sure the elastic doesn’t get stuck when putting the last tip on. I made that mistake and it took a while to get it out.
Is the Dakota one meant for like snowy regions or something??
@@skreebss sweet, thanks for letting me know! As soon as I saw it my “that would be really useful in nature/on hikes” senses started tingling.
Can you hear better using water from puddles or dry sidewalks 🤔
depends on the sidewalk. The auditory as well as the sensory sensations from cobblestones are insane.
Is there any cane that has a way of letting someone know about puddles, stairs, mud etc if the person is not only visually impaired but also hearing impaired?
In Australia traffic lights have a pedestrian walk button that you press when you want to walk across the road. It has a slow beep for while you’re waiting, a high pitched beep to indicate you can start walking, a faster beep to let you know you can keep walking, and then the beeps slow down again as it goes back to having to wait for the cars. The button you press to activate the crossing also has a section that pulses if you keep your finger on it, this let’s people know who have hearing impairment and visual impairment.
(Our being crosswalks became known worldwide when Billie Eilish recorded them during a holiday to Australia and then used them in the background of her song Bad Guy.)
I’m wondering if canes have something similar? Certain vibration patterns, maybe?
you could try so many new versions if you have a 3d printer
Where can i purchase these? My grandfather is blind and I’m wanting to buy one for him
I don’t think it’s actually raining
i was gonna like… but it’s at 969… so i won’t!!
Dude, if I was blind, imagine me trying to go downstairs one second I’m on the top of the stairs and a second later. I’m on the floor.😂😂😂
Are you blind
Are you actually blind or no I just want to know. 😊
Bro was searching for gold with that last one
