    Eating oysters right out of the sea looks really cool! The food at the restaurants you went to also looked pretty tasty. Awesome video!

      Thank you! The oyster experience was unforgettable! Next time I would try to do it when the tide is lower which is every 2 weeks so it was a tad easier, but still, the rewars was amazing. We only included the restaurants that we truly enjoyed so each one we'd go back to again 😊

    The bird formations you showed picture of at the end of the video are called in Denmark "Black sun".
    And it is a completely unique sight that you can see in the autumn when the birds seek south away from the winter.

      Thank you! Yes, Ribe was an awesome surprise! Very popular with the Danish and Germans but I feel like others miss it and that would just be so sad.

    Old towns certenly has it´s charms. Like Visby in Sweden with the ringwall. And smorrebrod is nice too. For me who live in the very far north of Sweden Ribe is the town to live in when the winter comes. Love the danes. You should also explain what hügge means for the danes.

      @@aWanderlustForLife if you go to Rømø there is the biggest beach in Northern Europe, and they have one of the best ice cream cafes in Denmark (Fru Dax), furthermore there is a lot of bunkers from WW2 across the entire island. Otherwise Ballum is close by and has a lot of old cool buildings supported by the Mærsk Company

    Do you pick up those open-faced sandwiches or use a knife and fork? They look pretty fancy. Wouldn't want to go somewhere new and look like an animal.

    • @aWanderlustForLife
      @aWanderlustForLife  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      He ate them with a fork because he was afraid of being too messy, too 😂 The dish did look fancy but the place was very relaxed. But I also just found this article which also says knife and fork, so I think we got it right 😁

      Smørrebrød comes in different "classes": Madder, Håndmad, Smørrebrød, Højtbelagt.
      Madder are flat and with no facy toppings, maybe a slice of cucumber or tomato. They live in you lunch box, or are "just snatched" standing at the kitchentable.
      Hånd-mad is with traditional toppings, but no more than you can eat with your hands (as the name suggests ;-)
      From there on and upward it's knife and fork :-)) or you'll leave a mess out of this world.
      Ps If there's fish you always eat that first! Then clean plates. And the cheese at the end.
