Late to the game but just tried this tonight and a bloody success! Not even one to cook without almost burning the kitchen down but you made instructions so easy to follow. Thank you!
You could add another Tbsp of flour, or let it reduce down for a time by letting it sit at a simmer with no lid until it reaches where you want it. Or less milk. All options would work, letting it simmer would be the best since it gives it more time for the flavours to come together and really work.
chur bro im making a chowder tonight, next time you make one instead of just adding flour in you should try make a roux then add it in after u cook your veggies
Yeah there is always the option to have it as thick or thin as you like, sometimes I have it runny like a soup, and other times thicker, this is sort of in-between.

If you want a thicker consistency, how would you achieve that? Less milk?

too much liquid bud, my choice is to have it thicker & creamier.............. but as long as you liked it, that's what counts!

I think he didn't put that much flour in there
