A lot of the things she says are more relevant to the NPC, which oversees the historically white sororities. There are significant changes in how recruitment is done, how the organization is run and how the money works when you consider the historically Latina sororities (under NALFO), Asian sororities (under NAPA) and Black sororities (under NPHA). Most of the pushback we see with these rush videos from TikTok comes from NPC sororities and these organizations typically are the ones to have rush consultants. That being said, there is alot of overlap and I don’t think any Greek organization is above critique. I loved my sorority experience but there are many times I wondered why we kept moving forward in a tradition that’s based on classicism and elitism, even in the POC focused sororities

As much as sororities are trying to diversify, if you’re at Alabama and can’t cough up $4000 per semester (not everyone will get a scholarship) and your payment plan has to be done by end of semester, it’s a no-go for you. So, great in theory but not going to necessarily happen in practice.

20:55 I call bull. Same old line that companies use when they are held to account for not hiring minorities with interest in those companies: "BuT tHeRe ArEn'T AnY QuAlIFiEd MiNorIties." Bull. You just aren't recruiting them hard enough or doing away with bad marketing tactics that push them away.

oh my lord the tik Tok promotional content for this video completely negated the entire interview and really was a huge FU to this woman and everything she's said.

Hey Risa, thanks for feedback. Appreciate you taking the time. Could you tell me a little more about why you felt that way. We try to be faithful to guests and not misleading so I'm legitimately interested as to why you felt that way.

Haha. She lives in New York City. The background noise and action is pretty unavoidable.

56:40. As far as I am aware. It is indeed impossible for a dolphin and a whale to produce offspring. That said. Wikipedia has an article about Wholphins and while the name may be inspired by whale and dolphine they are taxonomically just dolphins. So i would say It was a misleading question. Asking about something that does exist but is named wrongly but implying that the Name is the important point. Yes they are Wolphins but no they are not descendant from Whales.

I 100% agree. It’s a misleading question but in the end the facts speak for themselves. It’s just two dolphins, not some new type of creature.
