Years ago I wanted to pledge, so I prayed concerning it. Shortly after, I had a very vivid dream that all of the sororities were lined up with booths at a massive festival. As I stopped at each booth, a voice told me to keep going, until finally I’d passed them all. There was a narrow road off in the distance and the voice told me to keep going down that road instead. I knew then that God’s answer was a resounding “No” and I’m thankful that I was obedient to him.

So many sororities/fraternities been denouncing for a long time. But most won’t due to the perks, connections and pride.
Mercedes, May God continue to bless you. Thank God for your obedience! I denounced and repented on January 24, 2022. I renounced on May 22, 2022. from Delta. I just received my formal letter on May 29th , 2023. It is a blessing that God delivered. God is calling his children out of these organizations. 🙏🏾🙏🏾

O Hallelujah!! Thank you for your testimony sister I feel less alone. God sent me a dream and I ignored it for 4-5 years. Thank you Lord for your mercy, your patience, kind slow to anger. Hallelujah, I threw everything away, I let them know and to be honest some are some humble and loving others cut me off . But it's so worth it I feel freer chains and oppression have broken in Jesus' name. O Hallelujah!

Thank you for sharing your testimony. Even though I don't recall any ceremonies for Phi Theta Kappa, Holy Spirit brought it to my attention this weekend from when I was inducted while in community college. And to see this video "randomly" pop up first on my feed today, I knew immediately what I needed to do. Already cut up the shirt, looking for pin and certificate next. I denounce any association with Phi Theta Kappa and I come out of any ungodly covenant agreements I made knowingly and unknowingly now. The enemy no longer has access to me through those now broken covenants. And I am fully restored to God in Jesus mighty name, amen

Phi Theta Kappa is not a sorority or fraternity. It is an honor's society. It is the Community College's equivalent to the Four year school's Phi Beta Kappa. Also, many majors have honor's societies. There are no antiChrist rituals done in those, nor are there oaths of loyalty to a deity.
I was apart of this group too & I stand in agreement with you! Whether this is an ungodly group as well, it’s better to be safe than sorry. I publicly denounce & renounce all ties, associations & covenants I have made with Phi Theta Kappa. I herby render my agreement to this organization, void! Fellow COGIC baby in the house! I used to want to pledge a Black Greek letter sorority BAD until I went to a probate and I heard them singing that same song "All of my love, my peace and happiness, I'm gonna give it to (enter org here)." I think I kept a poker face, but on the inside, my spirit was DISTURBED. It was a huge turn off for me and from that point on, I let that desire go. I thank God for revealing that to me in that moment. It stood out to me and to this day, that's the only thing I really remember about that probate.

There are so many things that seem harmless that we bring ourselves to be apart of without realizing how contrary to the word and the will of God it is. As servants of God we truly need a spirit of discernment so that we don’t have to be subjected to certain things. I’m so glad that God delivered you sis! When I was in college I wanted to become a Delta as well. I got as far as attending an interest meeting, but I was quickly turned off by the nasty attitude of the ladies conducting the meeting. I believe that was God’s intervention. 🙌🏾

I’ve always wanted to pledge DST and the year I was finally able to, their criteria changed which disqualified me and I was crushed. However, I now know it was nothing but God that blocked it. Thank you for sharing your testimony.

I did the same thing. I know one that's NOT about to accept it, she wears it as a crown. Who knows, she probably never knew. But God is faithful so He's sent her a guide.

I’m so proud of you for sharing. This couldn’t be easy for you. I’m so proud your little girl is ok! I have a 20yr old son that was born at 31 weeks. We were blessed because he should have weighed between 1 & 3 pounds. But he weighed 4lbs 6ozs. The doc said if he’d been full term he would have weighed 10lbs easy. It was just so hard going home without him. He’s totally normal and healthy. Praise the Lord! I never had an interest in sororities because I’m not a follower and I wasn’t doing some of the crazy stuff they want you to. But my niece is in one. 😢 I’m going to find out which one. I had a friend who was AKA and her husband was an Alpha, a Free Mason and an ordained minister. I always wondered about that, especially about him being a free mason and preaching and sheparding a whole congregation.

I’ve had some Christmas fight for that when I tried to tell them the truth.

Yes! I almost pledged when all my close friends did at the time. *God* told me a strong, "No!" and that it was demonic. I obeyed without understanding all the reasoning at the time. Many, many years later He explained why.

Thank God for her testimony. She’ll help so many others. I definitely left OES, because of how people were. It just game to a point when certain things didn’t sit right with me. It was enough to leave it behind, and never look back.
This was a blessing! Continue to tell your testimony despite what the naysayers say. We encourage our young ones to go to college but a lot of parents fail in preparing them for the enemy (Greek organizations) that lie in waiting on campus.

I wanted to pledge AKA, but kept getting turned around from it. One of the sisters, when I was a teenager going through the most had given me her jacket ( she later passed away though) to wear because I had told her that I had always admired AKA's because they were the ones who always came around and did charity work. Well, other AKA'S didn't like and almost gotten into a couple scuffles because of that jacket where I stood my ground with the jacket on. Anyways, I can't remember what happened to that jacket but I found out early on that the sororities were demonic! I can't remember what I found out, but anyways, I can't remember if the jacket got destroyed, lost or given away! Listen, ALWAYS LISTEN TO GOD! What those secret chants and rituals were actual curses and so fourth which includes your family members unknown to them! Words Spoken out loud, is sealing covenants with demons to carry out the wishes of whom chanted the words to wreck havoc in the lives of the other people of the person who changed the words if they breached or disobeyed the orders of the group! Even with Zodiacs, demons are assigned to zodiac to carry out the mission of the messages pertaining that zodiac. The main reason why it is so demonic is because it detours the person from the original path that GOD placed the person for their well-being and ALSO spreads to other people attach to that individual to include them in the demonic attacks which includes horrific deaths, strange eerie unexplainable situations, people attitudes changes, loss in money or promotions,sudden deaths, birth defeats, horrific or unexplainable health issues, other people attacking you, being paranoid, having an unhealthy fear of things that's NOT of GOD, unhealthy sxual appetites etc etc. To break these covenants take vitamin supplements, and prepare to fast and pray plus give to the poor!! Place nothing or no one above God! I am so glad I dropped out of college during my second trimester because my friend was leading me down this path.
Never joined but just researched family history a couple of weeks ago and discovered on both sides sorority, fraternity and Mason members going back 2 generations. The Lord told me to denounce the pledges and covenants and any other belief systems that I’m not aware of because it’s nothing to play with… and I’m still rebuking any/all related associations in Jesus name. I’m 50 with 4 adult children and it’s unnerving to make that connection and yet such a revelation to know that God meant what He said about generational curses. But by the grace & mercy of God! I’m so thankful there are other sisters and brothers in Christ understanding our Kingdom assignment! Praising God.

I wanted to pledge Delta but God lead me to a video of a Christian girl on TH-cam denouncing DST. I wasn't super deep with my relationship with God at the time but I never felt comfortable doing it from that moment forth. I thank God I never did. Im so happy God rescued you!

I feel this same way with secular music. Think about the words we are saying. Is this music saving a soul or bringing someone to Christ? We are commissioned to help build the kingdom and help bring souls to Christ. Only what we do for Christ will last. We have to be mindful of everything we do. Christ sacrificed His life for us, we have to sacrifice for Him.
The comment section is crazy. I wanted to be apart of DST so bad, but I came from a family of AKA's, so everyone was confused. The deltas weren't active on campus but they tried to pre-pledge us in secret. I prayed about it, asked God if it was meant to be, let me pledge. The Deltas didn't return until the semester AFTER I graduated. Everyone here prayed on it and received an answer in different ways and I just love how creative God is!

Wow. I was part of the DST North Jersey teen lift program from 7th to 12th grade, led by God -fearing Christian sorors. They were a positive force in the lives of many teens providing job fair, general health and sexual health fairs and annual HBCU trips. So to hear this is rather saddening but not all together shocking given what I've read about Greek societies and secret societies over the years.y grandmother always said put God first. Anything that you put before God, you've made an idol.
I truly believe this. My father joined Omega Psi Phi in his late 40s in 2013. By 2019 he was divorced from my mom, estranged from his kids, deep in a sex addiction and alcoholism , and partying every night with his Bruhhz. By 2022 he was dead. Suffered a stroke after a night in a hotel room with three strippers and 4 other frat brothers - 52 years old acting like he was 25 trying to impress some Greeks and ended up dead before he could even be a Que for a full decade

I wanted to pledge Alpha when I was in college but never went through with it because deep within I didn't feel right about it. Now understanding it was the Holy Spirit that was given me instructions not to pledge. Thank God I didn't go through with it.
I did the same with A.K.A. that spirit cursed wvery job that I had. I am so glad i denounced.
I plan to denounce my Fraternity it’s really difficult but I accept what she said to be from God Christ has been showing me the same thing and more I love the brothers I made connections with but I can’t turn a blind eye to what it represents and what I allowed it to do to me.

I’ve been a member of a Greek organization for 50 years. My experiences have been positive, and relationships I’ve gained with GOD fearing women and lifelong friends have flourished.

As a gentle suggestion, to make your speech and presentation even more powerful count how many times you say "you know ' within a 60 second timeframe (then the interview in whole)...and reduce or eliminate it completely. Filler words may seem helpful, but can be replaced with more content if needed. Stand in your confidence and the warrior God has created strengthened, healed, and evolved 🙏 amen

I pledged DST back in 1995 in North Carolina. I really didn't want to. But I was pressured by a "friend" who was really seeking acceptance. And she didn't want to pledge alone. So I reluctantly pledged this organization. The DSTs were nice at first but in the process, they and my "line sisters" became nasty and mean. During the induction ceremony they make you bow to the "goddess" Minerva which is actually a demon. After that my life turned upsidedown. I was in a car accident, I lost money, I got sick. And when I tried to connect with DSTs in my hometown of Cleveland, they froze me out. In 1997, I threw away all DST parafinalia, plaques, tshirts, elephant statues, everything. Three years later I accepted the Lord Jesus! And never looked back! If you have God in your life, you don't need a sorority or fraternity to define who you are ❤

Thank you for sharing these stories. I denounced from aka in 2018 after 13 years. God made it clear to me that it wasn't of him. Afterwards I experienced so much spiritual warfare/attacks and they showed me even more that this was definitely spiritual.
Most Christians don't understand the deeper things of God like covenants, curses, deliverance etc so it's very easy for people to be deceived. I was there.
So true your knowledge in his word is key to unlocking these things. We have to know his rules, principles,and laws.

I never pledged the sorority either. My Dad gave me the money to do it my sophomore year, but my car broke down. Of course I got my car fixed. My junior year was the year the policy came into play about hazing. I filled out my application, but I forgot to sign it. I had to leave campus so I slid it under her door early. I couldn't be reached by phone because I was off campus. We couldn't afford cellphones then. LOL! I took that as a sign. I have had plenty of other opportunities to pledge, but it was never in my heart to do so. Then I was called out of darkness in 1998 and never looked back. One of my sisters in Christ sent in a formal letter to denounce DST. Some others just stopped participating in AKA.

Denounced DST privately/spiritually in 2020, formally in 2022… it felt like I signed divorce papers and I grieved a lot. So happy that I’ve been set free ♥️ glory to Jesus, He is Worthy of It All!!!!

Amen! I denounced Delta on January 24, 2022 and renounced on May 24, 2022. Repented and said a repentance prayer all on the same day. I was in the sorority for 19 years. I just received my formal letter on May 29, 2023 of this year. I thank God for hearing his word and being obedient to the leadings and prompting of the Holy Spirit.
I shared this with a friend who is Delta and whew the response. You would of thought I harassed her. They will defend their sorority to the end and walk blindly. Ill continue to pray that their eyes open.
You have to pray for her spirit to accept it ask GOD'to give her a open heart to hear,and take it his word ask him to renew her mind and spirit ❤.

If you join any frat or sorority. Write a letter of denouncing to headquarters. Throw everything away. Find the a pledge you made via google and in prayer repent & renounce all the words out loud.

I remember telling my 17 year old daughter when she went to college I told her amongst other things what not to do “ do not get in that sorority stuff cause it’s not of God!!!!!!”

My cousin who is a doctor now. Her mom and dad told her the same thing. To not join one. Because God would get her where she needed to go. Me on the other hand, although I had no desire to join, went to begin with, because I refused to humiliate myself. Had I want it to be in one- my former mother would have paid 20,000 if that’s what i wanted. However, the discussion never came up. I was not even saved and I knew that’s not what I was going to do. I didn’t even know it was wrong at the time. I only knew Masons were wrong. I didn’t find out until my cousin that I just mentioned after I got saved told me that Masons and sororities were the same thing.
