The chronicles of amber roger zelanzy its a pretty good series there is about a dozen or so books in the series but this song is about corwin who lost his memory and i think covers the first 6 or so books. Looked it up its the first 5 books but the song really only talks about the first i think, its been years since i read them.

Points enough on effort to get kudos, the dork in me broke out of his cage to point out that the logrus does not shift, it just seems to because it walks you as you walk it. Alternatively you can science it up by saying that the logrus, encompasses and emits the pattern, time...etc....So can not be fully expressed in a given instance regardless of complexity, thus one key advantage of walking the logrus you can not get from the pattern. Your since of time is stretched the same way an artist can sketch in 2d and make it look 3d. You can not possibly imagine what an *nth dimension looks like, until you have been there of course.
