This is an old video so I wonder if you are still using a DE razor? I changed over to a DE razor around 15 years ago and never looked back. Best shaves, cheap consumables... can't beat it. Agree with the other commenter who suggested trying shaving soap or cream. Works great and some of them smell really wonderful (like an old barber shop).
The wife just bought me one nice razor .The thing I find with these type of razors is that it’s like holding a hand-grenade take your time or it will literally blow your face off. I suppose with time that you’ll get use to it.
Why would you u shave with a can of goo using a de razor? At least get at a cremo shave cream. Also I heard if it's the same model as I saw the review it's not a bad razor but very mild. If you want a closer shave for a huge bang for your buck razorock razors are top class for around 20 bucks depending on the handle @ Italianbarber.com. Also if the dorco blades don't say new HQ technology made in Vietnam, those are the bad ones.
