Killer concept that's extremely well-executed. Definitely some "Babadook"-adjacent inspiration, although this is just as creepy, but with 100% less obnoxious child. Oh, and Gabby Carbon is a star. Not in the making, but just IS right out of the gate.

That was really good! I was kind of thinking that when she saw Weirdo and started backing away from the bed, hands shoot out from under the bed and grab her ankles, pulling her under.

Hmm, I think there was a missed opportunity. The drawings in the book appeared to be a flip-book. I assumed she would go back to the beginning and flip through, and when she got to the end (Weirdo's face) he would really be there.
Gabby did a very nice job. Script was good until the end which I thought was a bit of a letdown. Was hoping to see Gabby in one of the last peeks at the book. Anyway, well done! Kudos!

I must definitely be showing how old I am by this comment lol not many seem to know about Where's Waldo 😂 nbd. Hey, I'm Gen-X and we had lots of fun stuff, including Where's Waldo (and I believe there's a new Etsy ad w/the Waldo character in it, which I was delighted to see). I'd much rather find Waldo than Weirdo bc I'm thinking Waldo is 💯 wholesome 😊 (but he'd be a really bad choice for a horror film, so that's where Weirdo comes in, thankfully)!
I love the look of weirdo,also gotta love a tall man as an antagonist,ive always been irrationally scared of people that are too tall and its nice to see im not the only one who finds very tall people creepy lol.
@@USMCGHOST420 The radio announcer had an Australian accent and the box main character was using had Australia Post written on the side that's how I worked out it was made in Australia and therefore the temp was in C not F, anyway it doesn't really matter. I hope you have a great week. Cheers.
