This should be made into a feature film just like they did lights out ( although the TH-cam version of lights out was much more scarier then the big screen movie imo) but this was definitely one of the many many great TH-cam horror films that I’ve seen

Hmm, I think there was a missed opportunity. The drawings in the book appeared to be a flip-book. I assumed she would go back to the beginning and flip through, and when she got to the end (Weirdo's face) he would really be there.
This was great. You know it's good when you got me feeling bad for the main character in under 9 minutes. Hope to see more Weirdo, and I hope that Daisy is somehow okay.

Hey, I'm Gen-X and we had lots of fun stuff, including Where's Waldo (and I believe there's a new Etsy ad w/the Waldo character in it, which I was delighted to see). I'd much rather find Waldo than Weirdo bc I'm thinking Waldo is 💯 wholesome 😊 (but he'd be a really bad choice for a horror film, so that's where Weirdo comes in, thankfully)!
Gabby did a very nice job. Script was good until the end which I thought was a bit of a letdown. Was hoping to see Gabby in one of the last peeks at the book. Anyway, well done! Kudos!

Sorry, I just have to be critical, but try to take it well because I'm just trying to help. (Super long comment) Hear me out. Too blank. The emotions didn't stick the way they should because it was over the top or not enough: She wouldn't be that scared of the drawings, it was too much too soon. She should be more scared of the second falling book. She wouldn't be intrigued but more scared, she's been traumatized and seeing things. She wouldn't slowly look up at the entity above her on the bed. More time to die before even seeing your killer, it felt unnatural. The thunder and lightning was good with the reaction it provoked. It felt pure in a way. Less is more. You didn't need to reveal the character at the end, it should be fine with something less traditional. The music was largely unfitting aside from the carnival/circus book setting. All you might need is some silence to build tension. The camera movements. It's absolutely fine being still-frame for many settings. It also seemed to linger slightly longer than what felt necessary, less is more. Overall sound. The sounds were generally somewhat over the top, they broke the tension before the scares or main character could. Less is more. Scenes/transitions. The transitions into scenes could have been more intuitive in some right. Intermission scenes can add a lot to the plot and story. The isolation of the main character was overall well-done. They had very little human interaction throughout and felt completely alone in some parts. The overall execution of the writing on the books was well-done. Beautiful drawings that I couldn't help but analyze. The acting was decent for the scenes and could have easily been perfected, amazing potential. It's a good film but I want you to know how you could improve if you want to. It's all it needs to be for a small indie film and it has a nice charm. I want to see you thrive. Every film needs a soul and a point to it. This had neither that I could see.
