Everyone has a pair of false vocal chords, just not everyone knows how to use them. Alex has had training in this area with his rock style singing for a long time before he even took the role of Beetlejuice whether he knew it or not, which is why he finds this technique so comfortable. If someone wanted to learn how to do this it is 100% achievable with time and practice.

Also, if some people can, there could also be a standard in terms of acting and being comedic, i guess. Or maybe they aren’t within the theatre arts. 🤷🏻♀️
