- In this film breakdown, we take a look at Tampa Bay Buccaneers DE Calijah Kancey, who was taken 19th overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. So far, he looks like exactly what we thought he would be, an undersized, quick, athletic pass rusher, who has a bunch of ways to win. Through 10 starts, he has 4 sacks and 9 TFLs. His run defense is a different story though.

Thanks for the breakdown! Confirmed what I was seeing with great flashes of pass rush and not much to see in run defense. Hopefully he can develop in that area sooner rather than later.

How about taking a look at the entire Ravens Defensive Unit? Going into Week 14, they had the lowest EPA in history. I think thats definitely worth a deep dive.

would love to see a bucs rebuild, or even any other teams. they’re amazing with how sophisticated you are.
He is every good against the run but against the run with Vea out Atl bullied him his lack of size really shows when lineman come downhill at him.

Bucs have 4-3 personnel but run a 3-4
Within the last 5 years we’ve been pretty solid in the 3-4, we just haven’t drafted EDGE well so the OLB/EDGE depth is lacking this year which makes it seem like we’d be better off in the 4-3.
It’s easier to put 4-3 guys in a 3-4 scheme than it is the other way around
