I’m getting a cavapoo in 10 days!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! I need to focus on these sweet moments instead of the awful ones biting, nipping, scratching, chewing everything ... 3-5 months have been hell but I know she will be a good dog soon. But my Ellie is 3/4 poodle, and she's very hyper! Very EXUBERANT! Difficult to walk because she wants to interact with EVERYONE!
Your video was so touching. We have an almost 9yo Cavapoo we adopted 5 years ago. She didn't have the wonderful puppyhood Sophie is getting. I loved watching your video and thinking of Lucy growing up like that. We love our darling Coodle, but have to manage some dangerous behavior issues. We call her Lucy by Day and Lucifer by Night! Her issues are only with domestic life. She's our precious little girl and we are happy she will have a good life to the end with us.

She’s so adorable! I’m getting one in a few weeks. I’m surprised how much her coloring changed unless it’s just how the camera angles caught her. At first she looks more red and then later much lighter, lots of white. I suppose this is normal.
Congratulations! When we brought Sophie home she was a dark apricot colour and as she continued to grow she became lighter, especially the hair on her chest got really white (which I absolutely love!). The camera was the same, so it really shows how much she changed. But I think you're right, a lot of people say their dogs get lighter in colour as they grow.

How much did she weigh at 8wks?
Im getting one who looks very similar to Sophie. her fur is more wavy than poodle curls is she an F1 cavapoo? Does she shed much? Thanks!
Congratulations on your future adoption! Sophie is an F1 cavapoo, her hair has gotten wavier over time but she doesn't have those tight poodle curls that some cavapoos have. She does shed just a little, kind of like how us humans shed our hair, so you'll find some of her hairs here or there but she doesn't shed like crazy.
I need advise can a 8 week puppy eat homemade dog food or should I stick to dry dog food?
I'm not sure, but I would definitely recommend talking to your vet, they'll help you get all set up with your puppy and they're meals.
Who was the breeder? Where from?

Thank you! Sophie is a mix between a cavalier and a miniature poodle and I know when you get a puppy with two breeds, you don't know how much of each parent your puppy will grow up to be like. You can always ask questions with any breeders you're interviewing with especially because they'll let you know what size the puppies will end up growing to be.

Thank you! Her mom is a brown and white King Charles cavalier and her dad is a white miniature poodle.
@@NessaandSophie nice, Thank you for respond.😊 I ask you because I'm in the process of adopting one. and when received the birth certificate, it says it is cream, however in the photos the puppy looks apricot almost red. His poodle mom is red and his dad is a cavalier red. I don't know if it is common in all cavapoo puppies to change color when they grow like Sophie.
@@ejrvz4089 When we first adopted Sophie, her colour was labeled as "apricot", however we believe that because her dad has white hair and some dogs get lighter in colour as they grow, Sophie has now turned to be a "tan or beige" colour. I can't say for sure if your puppy will change colour but that's definitely something you can ask the breeder if you're concerned about that.
