Dope idea for a show! I’m a big fan of that era of underground hip hop and it’s really cool to hear an insider’s perspective about it. This a great companion piece to the podcast that Mike Eagle is doing with El-P, which just had the first episode drop.
Would love to hear you go more in depth about your experiences making music back then, it’s very interesting! Cheers guys!

Crazy history. Looking forward to more of these. Always interested in random behind the scenes stories/memories. Peace to Guillotine Crowns for holding it down

Would love to hear about non-def jux stuff you mixed/recorded worked on during that era (2001-2005)

How was it like to work on the cold vein album? Are there any sessions from that album you remember in particular?

Yo that was a very dope back story, thanks for sharing. I was around during those times, brings back memories, we used to chop it up all the time on the Ozone Forums. I remember when you became intern along with my homie ArcSin. We used to talk all the time on AIM lol...ahh man the good old days. Peace homie!

Hey JES I came to say something similar. I used to post on the board as Physikz and can remember many an AIM convo with you, Arc/Hey, all the Komadose crew etc. Good times 👊

Ozone? Now you're talking."Funcrusher Plus" was a very important album in hip-hop and one of my all-time favorite hip-hop albums but "Little Johnny. . ." could be my favorite between the two.
