Worcester University is ranked 87 out of top 100 U.K. Universities. Please give rankings of all universities in Business Studies or whatever courses you are choosing to talk on. As a retired U.K. academic I think it’s vital that students from India as they are spending quite a lot of their parents hard earned money choose top ranking universities. But considering that India is likely to be the 3rd biggest economy with in 5-7 years I fail to see the logic of any student forcing his parents to spend many lacks of rupees to study and work in such jobs which in India they would not touch. In particular if you are doing an MBA please go to the best universities only otherwise that piece of paper is worthless. MBA here in U.K. is not as desirable as in USA. Even there it’s now over rated. Good luck with your studies.

Bangor is better than Worcester in ranking but still 63/130. Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial and LSE are the best but very hard to get in. If as a foreign student you are lucky to get in these four then I highly recommend to waste no matter how much of your parents money and accept admission. Now to some other things. As a student you will have to work as a cleaner, dishwasher, cooking burgers and fries in very hot kitchens. Jobs which you will not dream of doing in India. Do not think you will get an office job. After qualifying you will need to either marry or accept a job much below in ranking as compared to India due to institutional racism. But if you are happy with that you are most lucky to come and study as a foreign student. It was certainly worth coming forty years ago when Indian economy was struggling but not now that’s my humble opinion.
