How To Replace Spark Plugs in Mercedes W203 C180 Kompressor.(Detailed Information About The Process)

Hi Everyone...
So in this video I am replacing spark plugs in my Mercedes W203, with detailed commentary about all needed knowledge to do it successfully. In my opinion you need 70% tools and 30% skills as this engine is very simple, and working on it is a pure pleasure. Thanks, plug gap can vary a bit depending on manufacturer, for this engine could be from 0.7 to 0.9 mm. New plugs should come already set.

Hi, no they do not, but I do always put them back in the same cylinder.

I am having a problem with my W203 M271 engine. The 1st spark plug has been stuck and all i replace are the remaining 3. How do I remove the stuck spark plug without damaging anything on the head. My cars performance gets affected as sometimes when I press down the accelerator the car has a rough idle and engine surging.

Hi, sometimes mechanics do not use torque wrench and over tighten the spark plugs... I would heat up engine just a little (not hot engine) as material that head is done expands quicker then metal of the spark plug and with the socket try unscrew the plug... it could be very frustrating task but I would do it as soon as possible as it is very unhealthy for the engine to drive on 1 old plug... good luck🤞
