کہہ دو: میرے رب نے حرام تو بس بے حیائیوں کو ٹھہرایا ہے ، خواہ کھلی ہوں خواہ پوشیدہ اور حق تلفی اور ناحق زیادتی کو اور اس بات کو حرام ٹھہرایا ہے کہ تم اللہ کا کسی چیز کو ساجھی ٹھہراؤ ، جس کی اس نے کوئی دلیل نہیں اتاری اور یہ کہ تم اللہ پر کسی ایسی بات کا بہتان لگاؤ ، جس کا تم علم نہیں رکھتے ۔

Sincerely asking, Why do we muslims so strictly believe in these Ahadees when there is no guarantee of their authenticity, Im not going into debate if you dont know about it but those books have so many contradictions, even with Quran? I mean you cant factually prove it that its true book
Kindly this is a big issue eleboraye this more and also teach us why this is not considering good in our society and why this is prevailing in our mind that this is not good to accept in society and why ulalam preaching us to keep ourselves away from making tattoo. With due respect need more elaboration on this topics other ppl will conceive this on their ownway. Dr. Sahb explained it brother, he said it is not normal in our society because our religious scholars take everything literally, And it has Ahadeeths because at that time African women used to show religious and other kufria symbols in form of tatoos, If you don't show kufr with your tatoo then it is completely ok.
Hope I explained it and helped my muslim brother not fall into the hands of clergy, peace;>.
Some people do tatoos due to fashion, but most of the tatoos are still done for the same purpose

It's still debatable. But you are right. Harmful things should be avoided at all costs. But, haram and halal are different issues. I myself am of the opinion that tatoos shouldn't be made as it's is apart from giving you harm, and bad shape is a useless thing. If we listen to this lecture, here also the seaker says tatoo making can be haram as well on the basis of certain Islamic commandments and injunctions of fiqh.
Al-Bukhaari and Muslim narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood (may Allaah be pleased with him) said:
“Allaah has cursed the women who do tattoos and the women who have this done, the women who pluck their eyebrows, and the women who file their teeth for the purpose of beautification and change the creation of Allaah.”
