This was a winner in the Eurovision Songcontest. Once a year this contest is held in the country who won the contest the year before. This year it's held in The Netherlands (my country 😉). It's very popular! Almost all European countries and even Australia and Israël participate in it. Yesterday we had the first semi final and it was watched by 182 million people live!! Tomorrow is the second semi final and saturday is the big final. This will probably be watched live by over 200 million people.

Floor sang from her home as she was recovering from gallbladder surgery.
she had her gall bladder removed a couple of weeks ago so she couldn't travel. In addition I suppose .. she is to do the virtual concert later this month
wasent it only 14 stones or so they removed from the gall bladder. she still has it.
@@torbenjohansen6955 Don't know. It would be much better if the stones were removed and she kept the gallbladder for sure. My understanding is that it produces bile which helps in the digestion of fats

@@torbenjohansen6955 Hi Torben, i follow Floor's video's and messages closely, she had 15 gall stones and here gall blader is removed for sure. Due to this issues she also had a pancreatitis.. The text from Marcel Renes is giving you information about the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC). Being Dutch too and an ESC junkie, I will give you a small detail which is explaining something about Floor's hair.
You have watched Loreen with Euphoria.
If Sweden sends a woman to the ESC, they always have windmachines. Lots.
So we have an inside joke, probably a bad one, when we see the performance of Sweden, that again they have taken all the windmachines and vans in the building.
It would not surprise me if she used a windmachine because Loreen did that.
Floor uses a windmachine during her concerts with Nightwish too....so not only because Loreen used them...

Just saw the video/performance that you recommended. Sadly was a play back track so she would not loose the voice while dancing and moving. There are other videos of her just singing and is good. But that dancing and moving was arranged with back track. Looks good but not 100% live
Oft overlooked: not everyone can sing with a breeze blowing in their face.
She always has a fan close to her when she performs live. It pushes her hair back after those phenomenal windmills.

bad title, it makes people think that you do not think Floor can sing it. which is BS! She's does it even better than the amazing Loreen. Which says a lot of how amazing Floor is. You just basically like the more pop version than the rock which is fine.. But floor could easy sing what Loreen does in the version you like. She elevated it here no doubt.

Thanks Jo... watched entire thing...its in her wheel house but Alyssa white-glusz and Tatiana run circles around her in the growl department... definitely the queen of all things vocal but growl is not her style and its okay... im happy with her crushing every singing metric known to mankind except growl...its like Michael Jordan worrying he didn’t score the most 3-pointers in basketball

@@jimmysworld2512 I get what you mean. I thought you were saying that, based on Floor's growls on Yours is an empty hope, because that's very subtle. Alissa has made growling her 'core business' so it's easy to understand she's better at it.
By the way, in general I am not a fan of constant growling in a song. I listened to Arch Enemy and to me it all sounds the same and I cannot understand a single word she's saying. But again, that's my personal feeling about growling. I am sure that if Floor would have growled only in her music, I would never have become the Floor fanboy that I am today.
@@Degu67 I was already referring to that song. I think they mixed that too subtle. The growling in this song should have been just a little bit more prominent to my taste.

She puts on a show/performance that's great to watch as well as listen to because that's what people want and expect to see and hear. She's not some Prima Donna Diva, as you appear to be suggesting.
