Now I won't lie and pretend to know what you're thinking, or assume you have any kind of plan right now. Truth be told I usually don't. I'm more of a "deal with it with blunt force when it becomes a problem" kind of guy. Though moving forward I've been reminded time and time again about how I got to where I am now. I've blamed it on stupid luck most days, but I think at the end of the day I'm able to keep going because of the people who support me and have my back. The one's who remind me to work harder than I did yesterday. The people who pick me back up when I can't fall any further. Keep that in mind when you listen to this piece, the people who love you, who motivate and push you to go past your limits. You'll make it further than you ever dreamed. or at the very least just enough. This is your song, your story, so are you ready for the next chapter?

Friend: Is sketch a band or something
0:00 - A party of adventurers awaken, eat breakfast, and meet up in the center of the village, ready to take on the day. They smile and joke around. Their journey is just about to begin, but already they can sense that this will be unlike anything else they've ever experienced. They kiss their loved ones goodbye and mount their horses. They'll be leaving behind the valley that they have called home their whole life, but they are excited to face the unknown beyond the mountain range.
0:25 - They gallop across the land; through lush forests and fields of golden grain. As they ride into towns, people stop on the streets and wave and cheer. Word of their mission has traveled to even the furthest reaches of the kingdom, it seems. Still further they go, passing farms and orchards and rivers and forests. Down a wooded hill and up a mountain trail. Away from their home and towards their destiny.
0:51 - The group stops at a clearing overlooking the valley. The sun illuminates thatch roofs and cobbled roads. It's serene and peaceful and the adventurers remember why they started this journey in the first place. Their village and loved ones are in danger, and it's up to them to protect this valley that they call home. Looking out over the small houses and tiny people, the archer thinks of his sweetheart, the blacksmith, his two children, and the knight, his father who was killed on the same journey he takes today. With their resolve strengthened, they share knowing glances, finish their meal, and set off again, into the unknown frontier.
1:32 - The unknown is...different. New plants and animals that our adventurers had never seen before. They slow their horses and gaze around at the wilderness, wonderstruck at what lay beyond their little corner of the world. A small creature swings about over their heads, treetop to treetop. A mother leads her offspring towards a pond.
1:57 - Suddenly, a massive boar charges out of the bushes towards their small party, startling the horses into a frenzy. The blacksmith is knocked off his horse's back and is almost impaled on the boar's tusks. The archer steadies his horse and dismounts, notching and firing an arrow into the boar's hindquarters. His aim is true, but that only seems to have angered the boar. It turns and charges again, but this time, the blacksmith is ready. He charges forwards as well and grabs the boar's tusks, his muscled form tensing against the strength of the animal. The boar pushes him back on the dirt path but he holds firm, unwavering. The knight steps forward, drawing his longsword from the sheath at his side. With a mighty downstroke, he separates the boar's head from its body. The unknown is not as forgiving as the valley, but that cannot dissuade them from their mission. They mount their steeds again with a renewed sense of urgency and gallop towards fate.
2:32 - They push on, across dry, barren plains, cracked earth, sand dunes, and volcanic ash. But they do not let up. Their pace must not falter. The future of the world balances on a knifes edge and their actions will decide to which side it falls. Hostile lands and unfriendly beasts cannot deter them. The must succeed, for their families, for their village, for their valley, for their kingdom. And so they push on.
2:56 - There it is! Their destination!
2:58 - The adventurers approach silently and stealthily, aware that getting caught would spell the end of not only their mission but their lives as well. Deciding it would be best to commence the assault after a night's rest, they retreat, for now.
3:08 - Our band of brothers makes camp for the night, knowing it will be their last before the final battle. A somber mood blankets the campfire, so each member tells stories of their most cherished memories to keep spirits high. The blacksmith recounts the birth of his first child and how he would do anything to give her the future she deserves. The archer tells the tale of the first time he saw his sweetheart and how he fell out of a tree trying to peek in through her bedroom window. The knight shares the first time his father took him hunting and the time he was officially knighted by the king himself. They laugh and smile and the weight on their hearts lightens a little as they know that, no matter what happens tomorrow, they can say that they faced it together and gave it their all. They take to their bedrolls, anxious for the coming day but confident that, together, they could tackle any obstacle put in their way.
3:56 - The soft sounds of a bird greets them the next morning. 'What are you doing so far from the forest, little one?' the blacksmith wonders. 'He has come to see us off,' the knight replies. 'He has come to wish us well on our task today.' The group packs their belongings, readies their equipment, and sets off again towards the final destination.
4:19 - BOOM! The archer's explosive arrow blows apart the doors to the tower. The knight is the first inside, shield bashing one guard and clobbering the next with the flat of his blade. The blacksmith follows suit, his warhammers whirling around him. They fight their way up, floor after floor after floor, the three of them against the world. At last, at the top of the tower, they face the evil lord. The knight strikes first and knocks him off balance. The blacksmith swings his hammer around and sends the evil lord's helm flying. The archer sees his moment and fires a single arrow, his aim truer than truth. The arrow finds it's home between the eyes and the evil lord collapses. He has been slain. Our heroes have saved the valley.

A perfect summer day. The wind caressing each blade of grass before us. The sun’s heat envelopes us as we wait. The eternal blue sky above dotted with the wisps of dreams that come and go. My brothers and me, enjoying the peaceful moment before the hunt. We all check our bows one last time for any imperfections. Soon satisfied we take to the horses. We race through the plains with our hair flying with the wind. Grins as wide as the vast landscape before us. Memories begin to flow. The ones who took me on my first hunt. Who showed me how to craft my first bow. To glue the feathers on my first arrow. How to care for my first horse. It all comes rushing back to me as I lead those who were once me. Wide-Eyed children making their first steps out into the wild. Now it is my turn. To use the knowledge and gifts that were bestowed to me in the continuation of our traditions. To begin anew, the creation of lifelong bonds. They are young and inexperienced for now. However, it won’t be long until they will be the ones who pull me out of the troubles I find myself in. When they will be the ones who lead the charge when I cannot. An eternal cycle. Of which I, am only a piece.
I can't explain how much I *love* this piece. There's so much story being told in this brief but magical 5 minutes that it's dizzying. I can feel happiness, reminiscence/sorrow, wonder, courage, and triumph from this song. Thank you so much for what you do and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. The sun was rising once again. A brilliant and vibrant new dawn now shown across the waking city as Sophia took a step outside on the balcony. It was over now, they had won and after what seemed like an eternity of fighting they had finally won.
“Beautiful isn’t it?” A voice behind Sophia spoke. It was Conner and he was leaning against the door way as he looked at Sophia with a warm smile.
“Yeah it sure is.” Sophia said as Conner walked next to her.
“I was talking about you.” Planning a hand on Sophia’s cheek Conner gazed into her eyes as the sun shone upon his face. “After all this time I finally get to see you smile again.”
Sophia was left momentarily speech less. He was right, after all this time she only new fighting but now the war was over. Tears began to rise but even so she smiled as her emerald green eyes sparkled. “Yeah, I guess you’re right. I’m sorry about how I have acted all this time.” Sophia said looking away. “I must have been such a pain.”
“Hey now,” Conner turned her head back towards her. “Don’t worry about it. I never minded and neither did Sarah, Serena, or any of the others. And do you now why?”
Sophia wiped a tear from her cheek, “why?”
“It’s because we knew that you cared,” Conner pulled her into an embrace. “And that I knew that you’d come back to us one day.”
Sophia was left speechless for a while. She had nothing to say, after all, what could she say. Oh wait, there was one thing that spoke louder than any words.
“Conner,” Sophia said pulling away.
“What?” Conner asked surprised, “What’s wro...”
Sophia pulled him into a kiss. Now it was his turn to be speechless. After letting him go Sophia looked at him straight in the eyes. “Let’s promise to each other that, no matter what, we’ll always be together from now on.”
Conner raised an eyebrow, “is that a proposal Sophia?”
“What!?” Sophia gently pushed Conner away as he laughed. “No of course not! That’d be weird.”
“Aww that’s a shame,” Conner said as he knelt down on one knee and pulled out a small box. “Then what am I going to do with this?” He lifted, the lid of the box revealing a shining diamond ring.
Sophia brought her hands to her lips in shock as she looked at the kneeling Conner. “What are you... I mean... do you mean to...?”
“Yes,” Conner said sincerely. “Sophia will you marry me?”
Sophia placed her hands on over her heart as she laughed the purest laugh that she had felt in a very long time. “Yes, Yes! I’ll marry you!”
After hugging once more the both of them watched at the sunrise continued to slowly climb up the sky. This may not be the end of their story, but the two of them new that this new sun now shone upon a new chapter.

I just wanted to thank you for the words under the video. I've been going through a rough time recently. I've been lying to myself about a lot of things and I'm not really sure how to deal with it. The recent lock downs have made me reconsider what I'm doing in life and if its what I really want. I think I'm depressed but I don't want to die I'm so afraid of that. Everything is just crazy and beautiful and sad and amazing its just all so much. I don't think I was designed to cope with the world but it's okay I'll keep going until whatever happens happens.

I’m a nomad, so was my father, his father before him and so on for many generations. I do not how we ended up as nomads seeing that there are many kingdoms in this land but I do understand why they decided became one. Everyday is never boring, the scenery slowly changing as time goes by, visiting other kingdoms and witnessing all of the many wonders they bring. Although this journey will one day end for me, I will be sure that someone will take my place, and continue on the path that me and my ancestors have traveled on.
Funny coincidence I litteraly had a dream with similar scenario last night
Everytime I hear your sketches I can think of so many adventures the characters in my story could have. Like on this one I thought about them scaleing a snowy mountain in search of a village that's been tormented by a long lasting and merciless winter. I can't come up with that on my own! Your music inspires me, keep up the good work!

Just beautiful! I keep listening to your work and the thing I have to say it's that it's very inspiring. As a novice composer, I can tell that it helped me figuring out different uses of some instruments (Or atleast more uses, haha) and thank you for that. I once had a dream, and in the background, I heard music, but when I woke up I could not recall what I had heard. The next day, I found this song in my recommended and watched it, and, to my surprise, it was the song from my dream.
I don't know if I had watched this before and it popped up, or if I had dreamt of an entirely different song and this was a form of deja vu, but, Rush, just know that this song left an extreme impact on me.
Thank you, I just graduated and the pandemic made it difficult, but I'm hopeful and optimistic for my next chapter. Stay awesome.

"Well...this is the end."
The tiefling mutters, staring over the expanse of cleared out fields, still charred from the hard-fought battles of the war. Towns were being rebuilt by the survivors, as people began to move on.
The party trudges through the town-square, cobblestones weathered but standing strong. The party was vastly different than the group of four that had set out into the streets of Cherry-Blossom Fell four years ago. The bard's beloved sister remained as the leader, thoughts straying towards the lone grave atop the nearest hill nearly immediately. The paladin, sword still coated with the blood of the opposition, releases a content sigh at achieving his goal. Perhaps he would settle down here, and aid in the rebuilding process. The tiefling carries his predecessor's story within his heart. Her sacrifice would be remembered, and passed on through himself and the winds he carried within.
Time continues to trickle by, as new memories are forged from the old. The old ones are never truly forgotten, as the next chapter unfolds.

After to much times listening this song, I think it's very similar to somethig that I remember of Spirit (The horse movie). I saw this movie when I was very young and I have the feeling of freedom, evolve, nature... and I think it's amazing...

I'm not sure who this Alexander is, but this is one heck of a chapter you're showing him
I think the most important thing I’ve realized since quarantine started isn’t that I should value the time I have with people or treasure people close to me. It’s that nearly every relationship we have is one of convenience, and once that convenience is stripped away, there’s nothing left. Once you stop seeing someone every day, it becomes easier to not talk to them for one day, then two, then a week, and soon the friend you saw every day is someone you haven’t said a word to in months.
