how did you start ??
did you start by learning how to play on a piano or instruments in-general aren't neccecary
@@ko-Daegu I've been playing Piano for 5 years before I started music production, the knowledge definitely helped me. Having knowledge about an instrument, or basic music theory surely helps :)

nah, I gave trying to prepare myself when I saw that this was about to premiere. Instead, I just sighed outloud.
It was easier.
I made it a minute and ten seconds before I started sobbing.

This show somehow affected me more personally than any other show I've seen. I'm a pianist, and a few years ago I had my first ever professional proformance. It didn't end well. I choked on stage, and muddled the piece. After that I slowly stopped playing piano. My interests shifted to start digital orchestrating, but I always felt like my passion for piano was fading away. Then recently I found this show. After seeing Arima find his passion for piano again I wanted to play again. That little girl reminded me why I played piano in the first place. I just got into college and I have a piano audition soon. This show helped me rediscover my passion. She reminded me why I play piano. To inspire people, just like this show inspired me.

that shift at 4:31 was something else, and that build up by palademix.. its like you guys were passing the baton to each other during the entirety of the track and finally concluded it grandly in the climax, I LOVED IT SO MUCH.

Rush, your music is one of the only things that can let me forget about all my stupid problems for a while. I'm... a pretty lonely person, when you get down to it. Whenever I make friends, they all disappear for one reason or another. After first grade, I started homeschool, and I never got to see any of my friends again.
After that, I made friends around where I lived, but we moved away a few years later, and I never got to see any of them again.
It was years before I opened up to the idea of friends again after that. But when I did, I decided to make friends at local events. It was amazing, looking forward to seeing them day after day, week after week, month after month. But then Covid, I never got to see any of them, and now that place is being closed down for another year. I won't ever see them again, since we'll all be too old to go there anymore.
Even then, I wasn't ready to simply not try to make friends anymore. The internet was kinda the final frontier on that front, but with no discord, I knew that was gonna be difficult.
But still, I made friends in a small indie streamer's chat, and since there were only about 15 of us, we were all friends, and we could open up to each other. For awhile there, things were looking a little bit good, but then the streamer grew more popular, and she couldn't keep up with chat anymore. She couldn't connect with her regulars anymore, so she decided to end her channel, and she took down her streams forever. That's when I gave up.
School.
Neighborhood.
Library.
Internet.
I could make friends, but I could never keep them.
But Rush, you help me forget about all of that, even if it's just for these 6 minutes. Thank you so much for that, you have no idea how much that means to me.

My mother home schooled me until high school, so I know what you're talking about. We've had countless arguments about it, but ultimately, 3 or 4 social events a week that last about 3 hours each, which is even more than you had, aren't enough for a person to develop socially well. When I went into high school, I was extremely socially stunted, so much so, that I began to feel isolated. My sophomore year was hell on earth for me. Not because of extreme bullying or anything, yes it was there, but it was minor, but because every social interaction that I had felt like hell on Earth. I constantly felt like that I would never make friends and that I was alone in the world. I began to question living. Thankfully, I didn't do anything extreme. I just graduated, and while I don't have a large friend group, I do have friends, ones that I can talk to about anything, ones that can talk to me about anything. It'll be hard, for a long, LONG, time. But, eventually, I promise you, I swear to you, that you will find a friend, even if it's just one. And everything will all be worth it. Don't isolate yourself, don't cut yourself off. Even if it hurts, just remember one thing.

Everytime I see Rush publishes something from Your Lie in April my heart readies itself to cry
My heart started aching when I listened to this, but at the same time, I felt at peace. This reminded me of why I actually fell in love with playing the violin, which I stopped doing because of my depression during the pandemic.
During that time, no one understood me and I was constantly told that my pain was irrelevant because others suffered more than me.
But through this, I was reminded that such people like me, struggling to communicate and express my feelings, that music can also be my second language to let out everything I feel, think, and what I want to say.
Thank you. Your Lie in April was such a beautiful anime, if I could only just forget everything that happened in it and watch it again, haha.
