If you stay on a 16, you increase the house (casino) advantage 4x. It’s a lose/lose scenario but you lose slightly less when you hit the 16 against a 10.
Same with 12 vs dealer 2. If you hit you win 9/20 times. If you stay you win 8/20 times. We’re talking tiny advantages but over time, they add up.
All math my friends, don’t let the patterns the typical player “sees” throw off the math. Hope this helps

It's all momentum.. sometimes you hit you bust, you stand you win... on the long run you will lose!

16vs10 is very close since you need a very good draw like a 4 or a 5 just to break even but with a 16v7 the times you don't bust, you are more or less favored to tie or win so it actually makes more sense to hit your 16s against a 7 compared to a 10

the book is the last thing you play after on online BJ, the more you play by the book, the easier you make it for them to win. you just find the pattern and play by that, shit is rigged so if you want to win just see how the script plays out

Why pragmatic BJ is taking the money of the side bets whenever you win? You get your win but you lose your bet..

If the book says hit you hit. The statistical bias you are sending is a cognitive one. Unless you are subconsciously counting cards (lows and his ) and are one of those players who I suspect are winners because they are counting cards subconsciously and thus making out of the book plays on instinct correctly.
Sometimes if many tens are on the table we instinctively might expect the dealer to flip a lo and vice versa. I don't know if a stand is good with a certain count.

On that hand where you didn't split perfect pair of 2 of diamonds, even if you did, you wind up with 21 and 20, next player busts, 3rd base player pulls a 6 to make 20, dealer flips his 11 and still pulls a T to make 21. So you push and lose on your split (-$70) and then lose your second hand, (-$70). Same outcome either way.

    10s against a 9 is a double eray time.
