I know this comment is years old, but I'm pretty sure it all has to do with what Apple has made the "standard" for premium phones to be. Flagship phones used to have expandable storage, headphone jacks, and chargers in the box. Once Apple got rid of those things (apart from the expandable storage since they never had it), other brands followed suit. And since such a premium and fancy phone like an iPhone doesn't have expandable storage, then so shouldn't the most expensive Samsungs, Xiaomi's, and other brands.
Not bad got the redmi note 10 pro global version and I'm happy with it only downside is that I can't buy a new case or screen protector for it anywhere not a fan of online shopping
I'm using Redmi Note 11T 5G same phone on different name. I must say this is the best performance oriented device of this budget. Dimensity 810 doesn't heat up at all. Performance is in the sweet spot, no drop frames or stuttering. No one can beat it in terms of performance right now in June 2022.

Its an amazing phone with 120hz refresh rate, a high touch sample rate, dual speaker, headphone jack, ir blaster, 4k video shooting, 6GB ram, 128GB rom expended with 256GB micro SD, Snapdragon 732G, Adreno 618 GPU, 5160mHz bat, 33w turbo charge, 0-100 in 55minutes (crazy fast), face unlock, bluetooth 5.2, side fingerprint sensor, and a decent camera setup. And all that for around 200 Euro. Cant be more happy.

good question. they are both awesome options, and very powerful devices. I am the owner of the zenfone 6... I personally wish they'd keep going into the right direction with the flip camera design, instead of going back to compact, and even though the zenfone 8 is a solid spec phone, I just feel that it is not much of a tech upgrade in the zenfone series. I feel that the flip camera phones have some advantages over normal type of phones too and going back to the compact model is an additional disappointment in my opinion. But overall on the current market it is a good midrange phone even though in my opinion as previously proven they could do a lot better value/price... like in the last 2 years... both the zenfone 6 and the zenfone 7pro were declared the best value phones by the most known tech reviewers on youtube... And I am certain this year won't be same, unfortunately. Conclusion... I'd go for the mini if ios platform is not an issue.
I have a phone with it in the middle and it never bothered me. Actually I prefer it there since I have the tendency to cover it at times when it's in the corner.
You guys should talk about MIUI 12.5 ,that os is full of bug..these are no longer value for Money device & in Asia there customer service is bad as hell..

The F4 will have to include some serious specs to outdo the F3. The , SD 870 chipset is very powerful. Unless the F4 comes with one of the newer mediatec chipsets 1200 or better, faster charging and improved cameras then it might struggle.
tbh it depends ,cause the only issue seen mostly in these devices are the navigation hardkeys face issues when you use it roughly( lets say 2-3years most) but since these do not have hard navigation the only problem would be the screen burn.

Review after 4 months of usage... The best features according to me is fast charging like it can be charged in 40 mins 0-100 and battery backup is also good even if you are gamer. For normal use like internet surfing and watching videos on social media apps battery can last upto 24-30 hours. Performance is also good but i will not recommend this phone for gaming. You will get ultra fps in bgmi.... Os is also good... But surely there are some problems like phone may heat after charging sometimes and also phone freezes completely for 10 -20 seconds(Once in a weak or month). Camera is average almost below avg.... After 4 months of heavy usage like playing bgmi etc etc phone is still working fine but i can feel the performance is dropped for now.. But battery is still in it's best position... You have to compromise with performance if you are a gamer and with camera if you are a photographer
Poco it's better to be real, if you will only put 2 cameras just place 2 cameras in the camera module, don't place anything else to conceive the buying people.
my requirements for a camera is that it should load quick. And takes pictures quickly. And even if the subject is moving, like my children, still able to take clear shots, without the typical motion blur. Can you please tell me if this unit is capable of these? Has anyone also tried using Gcam on this model?

Yeah, a good device for the budget buyers and occurs as low as 250 bucks with the kind of features it has. Dimensity 810 was an excellent choice.
