@@zoso1up yes, BUT he was not part of the devs right? So going to a area he’s not supposed to be. Technically that’s trespassing. Even if you buy a ticket, your not allowed to be in certain areas. What do you think? You can go backstage to a gaming event? NO! So why should he be there? He should be at his seat. If he didn’t have a seat, more charges much be needed, that’s X2-trespassing. You need to understand why he not supposed to be there, or why no one, except the people who run or takes care of this event, should be backstage. Hope this understands.

Can someone tell me what law is being broken here? Is this trespassing? I just can't see how walking on stage and speaking on the mic uninvited is an arrestable offense when it's the staffs fault for not noticing that he didnt belong and do their jobs to begin with.
They'll more than likely charge him with disorderly conduct.
I'm so sure that there is a law about showing up uninvited and interuptting an event for self interest. Even if there is no law for that, what this kid did was very rude. He is a random nobody that no one recognize, thinks he's a celebrity and went up there for no reason. He ruined what was suppose an emotional award winning moment from the game developers, walk around left and right with distracting facial movements, and grabbed the mic to say the most random, irrelevant and unfunny joke to ruin the moment.

I'm not an expert in law nor do I live in the US, but wouldn't that still count as trespassing? Yes, it's a public event, but knowingly walking in restricted areas (on the stage where you are not supposed to) is surely considered trespassing, right?
