I would have liked him to bring more of his personality, with the incredible riffs he usually does. I don't see any point in having two artists do exactly the same thing when they're capable of doing things differently. Not much, just a few variations here and there.

Honestly, I am not familiar with this young man. It just came up on my phone and this is my absolute favorite Christmas carol, so I thought I would check him out.
