I think one of the reasons why we hate Mineta sm but are okay with, say, Dabi, is because Mineta is supposed to be a hero but has no redeeming qualities at all and just creeps us out, while Dabi is still cool and has a backstory we can sympathise with. Also, Dabi still respects women, despite being evil. And we stan a villainous feminist

It's what I like to call "Relatable Villainy"; Chances are, a lot more people have dealt with creepy pervs or abusers than murderous terrorists, so the former two are a lot easier (In fiction, at least) to relate to, or rather, against, than the latter, despite the latter being pretty much objectively worse.

I like how you said Iida was controversial but that was literally the category I wanted to put him in.

And clearly it's not good for him, because when he's not being all Class President! Rules! Read School handbook for Fun! He's trying to kill people. 😑 Boy needs to find a middle ground. Because seriously, like the 3rd time he tried to lecture me about being in my seat or being on time, if I didn't punch him, at the very least, I'd go off on him.

I agree that I wanna punch Mineta, and he's a complete creep of a character, but if you completely separate his quirk from him as a character, it's the most under rated quirk in the show. I know that's not what this video is about, but Mineta having an underrated quirk is a hill that I will die on.

The first thing I thought when this video even began was
"Is this person a woman? Mineta is gonna be at the t-"
*video starts* yeah for sure.
For me, the Ultimate punch is and always will be Aoyama. Now, believe me when I say I have ZERO idea as to why, but the second, and I mean the LITERAL MOMENT Aoyama appeared on the screen, it's like my instincts kicked in, and I rapidly developed an immediate hatred right there and then! To this day, I still don't know why that's the case. But BOY was I satisfied when the Queen herself, Mina Ashido, gave him the best deserving uppercut that I could have asked for with his pants down in front of everyone (including on TV) at the School Sports Festival!! In some ways, I feel avenged.
I am actually early for once! The people who I really want to punch mineta because he is obviously the worst but I do have a friend who likes him and thinks that he’s funny and I don’t get it. There is nothing good or funny about him.
He is smart, he is an insanely supportive friend, when he’s not being a perv he is quite funny, he has had a major character arc
