I know this is a joke, but I think you have the wrong idea of what bkdk shippers are all about. Us bkdk shippers don't ship bkdk cause they're romantic or friendly or whatever. The ship is actually about character growth and redemption arcs. Bkdk shippers support the growth of the relationship over time, and want them to be better towards each other. The ship is also very hypothetical. If you look at all the good bkdk fanfiction, you'll notice it's usually set in an AU where they're friendlier with each other, or its set in the future where they've already become friends. If its not set in an AU or in the future, the fan fiction is most likely about Bakugou bettering himself and learning to respect Deku. Us shippers like the dynamic of enemies to friends to lovers, and the whole 'acting mean to your crush'/'being super nice to your crush' act. I don't really see the point in bringing up stuff from the first episode, especially if its not true now. We're on the fifth season now, not the first. And the manga has also given us lots more development of their relationship. I just thought I'd let you know

7:03 I've seen a TON of people ship Kirideku actually. It makes sense tbh. It'd probably be one of the least toxic relationships possible in the series lol. And Kiri is definitely one of Deku's best friends outside of the main people he hangs out with. They have a lot of nice casual interactions
Mainly ship Izuocha, but if I had to ship deku in a gay ship than, Kirishima I feel would be the best choice since they are both so nice and their personalities mesh well together.

@@chronocorvus7886 I think I finally figured it out actually. I think there’s a lot of people that imagine themselves as certain characters. Usually Midoriya and main characters. And when they say, Midoriya could work with All-Might, it’s more because they personally get a crush on a character like All-Might and Midoriya is the placeholder for their internal ship with a fictional character.
If it’s that, then yes ship away. If not and it’s serious...that’s SIGNIFICANTLY weirder.

But anyways. I have an uncommon ship. Iida and aoyama. It takes little to see characters sparks. And I saw it during the licensing exam.
