A couple things that should be on the bucket list, some inspiration from the Donut miata, to replace the engine mounts. After almost 30 years, I dont think they are doing so well.

Your not really supposed to mainly because of electronics, but we covered the intake and were careful to not directly blast any electrical connectors. Car hasn’t had any problems since.
When you finally finish fixing the car could you give an overview of how much everything cost? I’m interested in doing a similar project myself it it would be nice to know how much it might cost me.

It would be a good idea to mount a cage for extra security, also LED headlights would be great ^^
on the side of painting things, try a flat black header paint for the heat shield on the header. It cleans up the engine bay very nicely

When taking the Valve cover off you should of did the cam angle sensor o ring it's real easy with the cover off
