I’m both surprised and also not surprised that the scissors was the first boss battle you got a game over in. The surprised part is this is a late game boss and for it to be the first boss for you to get a game over in is just wow. But I’m also not surprised, and the reason for that can be explained in 2 words: Instant-KO
The hole you looked through at 23:12 is supposed to be a hint for the hidden ? block in the room, you can see a red spot on the ground indicating where you have to jump but it can only be seen through the hole as in the room it is hidden behind the chair. Still, it's quite impressive you noticed the holes at all, most players miss them entirely and then most of the rooms seem like they have unfair secrets.

It is neat how Green Scissors go from being a helpful attack in the previous two games to a scary insta-kill boss in The Origami King.
